a lot of older folks must listen to the radio, theres no other explanation for the elementary talk coming from these announcers.  most of the stuff they say, if they'd sit back and listen they'd wonder "why did I say that?  it contributes nothing to the game....here, lets throw in a random question we asked an Islander before the game, and we;ll do this every TV timeout, all 9 of em."
