i read that about versus and NBC and parise. Parise isn't amazing.
he's close but no cigar.
i wrote a message to that blogger guy www.fromthepoint.com Brian
Metzer, asking him what are good resources to learn more about hockey.
blogs, twitter, yeah I get those. but what books and forums (cuz
blogs arent good places to have discussions) and other places are good
to get more information other than business aspects and signings,.
this one kid, he sits in the computer lab with me, i'd describe him as
a surfer guy from california, his wife is a complete surfer chick, he
asked me last week, "What do you think of the army? knowin what u
know now would you enlist?" hell yeah i woudl, pays for all my
college, teaches me a language and gives me a clearance, and trains me
for close to three years out of four years.
"Oh."
"So you wouldnt enlist, eh?"
"No, it prevents me from doin' what i want to do."
continue the coversation the next morning, a stunner. "I want to get
political but i cant" talkin about the Executive Orders the president
can issue to over-ride Congressional Law. how we, as soldiers, are
firstly in the Oath told to "protect the United States from enemies of
the COnstitution foreign and domestic." and how its unconstitutional
to issue those executive orders. it is, I agree, but what can i do
about it?
also, he lost me when he said something about the US can issue bonds
and and be charged interest, which is debt, but what happens when they
pay off the bonds? they still pay interest...
pay interest on what? if u paid off all the debt there wouldnt be any
interest, so im confused of his point. the national debt has
increased from like 2 trillion to 14 trillion in hte past 10 years.
thats what happens when u start spending a few billion a day in a war.
war doesnt fund itself.
so this kid is laughing and he says "come here and watch this" and its
that radio guy Alex Jones talkin'. yeah he does research readin
public files about insitutions putting cancer in some medicine and
bluh bluh bluh, some german F1 racer comin to Austin to raise money
from TX for some race track in Germany, or something, and how he
already has a 55,000 sq ft house with a helipad. trust me, I know
that story is much more complicated that what this Jones character
makes it out to be. OOOOOOOOOWWEEEEEEEEEEEE.. he gets mad at says
something about "putting all you globalists in jail" or something to
that effect. no point in getting mad.
so thats what this kid feels destitute over. go surf the high seas of life.
