he's only 24, drafted in 2006, pretty young. 60 pt player in the
past, he wont keep that shooting percentage for long, which means
he'll be coolin off pretty soon and droppin in the ranks.
ovechkin sucks. how does a C get pulled in a game, and basically
lolly-gag on the ice lookin to primarily cherry pick? he doesnt back
check very often, usually skating back pretty slowly to get ready for
an offensive rush, leaving his teammates to do all the dirty work
while getting forechecked. a few other bloggers have said the same
thing, muahaha.
the only bad thing about malkin is he ikes to dangle a lot and
sometimes he loses the puck, but he makes a lot of great plays
carrying the puck across the blue line.
last game, i saw Asham on a 3 on 2 rush dump the puck 15 feet before
the blue line when the Dmen were maybe15 feet away from the otehr side
of the blue line. carry that puck, son, that would have been a great
opportunity. and they didnt make a line change, so i dont know what
he was thinking.
