i only do perfect situps. i usually aim for 80 before stopping. last night after hockey I did 52, then did another set of 40 a minute or two later. i rarely can't hit 100 in one stop. just did a minute of planks, front and both sides. side planks hurt my forearm and doesnt feel too good on the shoulders.
mason twists are easy. last time i did them, a month ago or so, i would do 50 on each side. ill do some in a minute or two.
havent learned the msucles yet. doing that next week.
on joints and how muscles are formed, then moving on to nervous system, labs i guess are the muscles. no idea.
let me do some mason twists: just did 100, siting in the C sit position. my right scapular muscle area feels tight, knotted up. hit 70 and started feeling it. i could have done more, going at a prety good pace, breathing was harder than the actual ab workout.
im wearing boots or I'd do the V sit and try it. i can't do more than 75% of my normal with boots on, probably barely over 50%.

how many situps can you do before stopping? I was doing crunches / situps, usually around 30 before stopping , then pumping out 10 more. I did a total of probably 200 over 5 sets, then I pumped out 50 over 2 sets on the reverse incline thing which was KILLING my left shoulder. no idea why.
Also did 75 mason twists over 3 sets on the reverse incline (holding my body up by tightening my abs).. all 3 sets, right when I finished my 25th, I fell back, couldn't hold up any longer.
150 perfect situps over 3 sets.
90 (45 on each leg) of the fifer scissors, 3 sets.
I did 90 of something else, don't remember.
I think crunches are the best ab exercise. eVerything else is too easy, it's all rectus femoris (thigh muscle, you should know that one), hip flexors. It's only tiring 'cause it's cardio, not really muscular.
It feels great physically and mentally to have my legs feeling great. I did 200 lbs on the leg press which is nothing but it's a start. I don't wanna overdo it. I'll gladly take my time to build up the strength again. after injuring my legs and shoulders in the spring, I'll take my good ol' time to get my strength up. I'm sure Jimmy knows what I'm talking about. My shoulders are gonna take a long time to heal, probably all summer, definitely mid-July at the earliest. Riding my motorcycle strains my left shoulder a bit, but I manage.
