I wouldn't get anything below a 2008 because they look better, probably drive better and get better performance.
 
So last night, what a game.  Won 6-1.  Our second worst player got 2 goals, from perfect cross crease set ups by the 2nd center.  our worst player cant raelly skate let along do anything with the puck, never on my line though so doesnt bother me.  My linemate got 2 goals, he;s usually the 3rd center but only had 6 F's, great for lots fo playing time, definitely wasn't complaining.
 
both goals were far side shots, one from above top right circle, first was somewhere closer in the same circle.    that first goal, he was in a quick battle along the RW boards, puck went up and they were facing away from teh goal, puck landed behind them so i got it, teammate was turned around heading to the net, i basically handed it to him, takes it in for the easy cake. 
 
i pumped my fists on that goal, too easy.  perfect teamwork.
 
first goal, i have a semi-breakaway, get the puck on the red line in front of the only D, a woman. she's decent.  but she was caught leg-cuffed, i was gonna pull the mario lemieux-bourque play, but that ice sucks and i was slipping around, fighting to keep my balance or i would have blown that girl away.  happened two other time during the game, too.  anyway, i dont think she got turned around, i either tried to shoot and she got ap iece of it, or she just got a small piece of it.  we're right in front of the goalie and i basically poke it, maybe it was a terrible wrister.  goalie goes down and it goes above his glove.  too easy.  first goal for our team. we were losing 1-0. haha.
 
second goal was near the end of the game, a breakaway, my patented move left to TR shelf. i didnt think it was going in, must have just grazed the goalie's side.
 
a Dman teammate said after the end of the game that my line has great chemistry.  i had at least 5 passes straight to a teammate's tape in front of the goalie.  a few were broken up, and once on a rush i passed the puck too slow, i was at the D blue line stopped tryin to get it to my teammate crossign the red line.  hit his skate, i think i picked it up.
 
a good bit i skated in, grabbed the puck, and made things happen. once, we cross int the O zone, a dman gets the puck and clears, i glove it, and deke around a F, that D (I was on the LW), cross the slot to the right, do the Jagr deke to the outside (where he then backhands it) but I threw it to net, was offbalance and goalie had everything covered.
 
i had another breakaway at one point, tried my patented move, put it slightlyt oo high and hit his glove.  a teammate ont he bench said to "put it on net", i guess meaning to put it off his blocker so a teammate could pick up the trash.  if i had done that then the puck was gonna move away from my teammate and myself. 
 
one pass i was on LW side, passrather slowly (ntohing to write home about) right beside the Dman's stick to my teammate rushing up the point, puck JUST passes the backchecking D man's stick straight to myt eammates stick.  he wasnt expecetd it, somehow got it but didnt have much of a great shot.
 
the very end of the game our teammate had a berakaway, got hooked into the goalie, im pretty sure he still scored(saw the ref put his hand toward the goal and not a penalty shot, then made a hooking movement for the penalty). never updated ont he scoreboard, end of the game though.
 
one point i got tripped, then 3 seconds later my teammate gets called for interference. i didnt see it as i was on the ground, but all the teammates were like "you get tripped, but we get a penalty"
 
thoroughly owned that team.
 
next season starts after hte playoffs, which are next 2 weeks.  we're 3-2-1 i think.  nots ure what seed, probably 2nd.
