so i have a few options.
gonan re-enlist for at least 3 years in april. the more i re-enlsit the more bonus i get, gotta score high on this langayuge test at the end of the month, studying pretty hard for it.
the company here has a re-enlistment incentive to go to college for a semester and nto realy work. do quarterly training days once every 3 months and PT tests, maybe PT, piss test, thats it.
so i'd go to ASU for a semester to get Anatomy and physiology, chemistry, maybe biology, gotta look up teh required classes. then they'd send me to get a bachelor's for two years then the AMEDD doctoral program, which would be the HPSP for you.
apply to the Green-to-Gold soon, to be an officer to do the AMEDD. if i dont get in then iim gonna do the 9 month Kurdish program here, then apply for below
i can also re-enlist for 6 years at some point to go to Fort Meade for 3 years for a crypto-linguist training, pretty much be the most elite crypto linguist in the military. with a master's as well, come out making a crap load of money. probably even work on a Ph.D. during that time. there's only one Arabic slot for this year so not sure the hcances of getting it. and I couldn't apply for it until next year ot the year after anyway.
lots of opportunities.
did 2 sets of 12 reps of 190 lbs on the chest press. pertty easy, definitely getting stronger. the first set I did was 6 reps of 210 then 6 or 7 190lbs, trying to increase my weight.
i weigh 184 with my uniform, so probably 179 or 180. i swear i weighed 181-182 a few days ago on teh same machine same uniform. must be the muscle.
also, i asked my squad leader the best way to improve situps, more specificifically my hip flexors/legs when my abs get tired (around 55 situps i start feeling it in my abs and legs). he said crunches are shit, dont ever do those, they dont do anything. focus on leg lifts (hold on to a sturdy item and flip your legs up over your bbody, keeping them straight) i just lay on the ground and put my legs straight out, bend my knees in and lift my ass off the ground and putting my legs straight up. did 55, 2 sets of 20 and 1 set of 14. then i did 50 20 pd ab machine crunches/situps. thats more for my hips, but i definitely feel it in my abs too.my chest has a lot of pressure when i work out. last night during the game i thought i wouldnt be able to wake up for work, cuz i only got like 5.5 hours of sleep. but i feel pretty good.
heather kept the keys in the bike at school, killed teh battery. she bought a 75 piece toolset with a tool box (more like a picnic basket) for $30, not bad. fixed the bike, drove it home. wouldnt start this morning. she has to go to LA thsi weekend, too. sucks for her. getting 45mpg consistently driving around town, on the highway and base and to school and hockey. i'd say at least 50 ont eh highway, if not 55-60.
heather will find out this weekend.
