So I was looking up basic safety tips for motorcycle riding. Of course, there isn't much online that isn't common sense. I come across a review for beginners:

No way I'm taking that Basic Rider's Motorcycle Course - 15 hours of nothing. I just took the knowledge review test, missed 2 out of 48 questions and even then, the one question was debatable. The other one was something about which acronym to use when starting the engine.. it doesn't matter what label you give it, you start it how it's supposed to be started. I'm not sitting in a classroom for any amount of time for that. Anyway, I'll be taking two classes at once, working, going to the gym, going ot the park with Jasper, and spending time with Emily. And the only week that I have off over the summer from school, they don't offer any classes. Also, it won't lower my insurance - it's already at the state minimum.

But the biggest reason - practice is the best teacher. Any fool can tell you that riding the bike is going to be much better than anything people can teach you.
