max deadlift - 215 lbs, squat 185, shoulder/military press 85 (haha, it's 'cause my left shoulder is messed up), and chest press is 125 (again, shoulder). The way I do max lifts is start really light, go up by 10 lbs (chest press and shoulder press) or 20 lbs (squat/deadlift) for 2 or 3 reps until it gets to about an 8 out of 10 for difficulty, then i only do 5 lb increments. Took about 30 minutes to get to the max lift, but it went by extremely fast. No idea how much deadlift is stronger than my squat. makes no sense 'cuase my back is weak and my thighs are strong. Gonna start focusing on those four lifts with some assistance work thrown in 'cuase I need the core strength more than anything. Those workouts pretty much use the whole body.
Looper, interesting movie. Kinda boring at times.. Emily didn't like it most of the way through, but the ending kinda brings everything together. All I can say is that time travel never makes sense, so analyzing is not even worth it. too many loopholes/suspensions of disbelief need to be in place.
End of Watch , probably more entertaining, but not as deep. got through half of that earlier in the week.
Gonna watch Prometheus at some point, read it's better than average. doesn't say much. Good thing it's getting colder out, gives us something to do after 7 pm.
Gotta watch "Sherlock" (6 part mini series I guess, PensBlog recommended it), Spartacus and Game of Thrones (Jimmy recommends)
this homework is a complete joke. I accidentally came across a nursing forum where students talk about the courses and they all pretty much say it's a joke without actually coming out and saying it. I put way too much effort into it and I still only put maybe 2-3 hours a week per class, if that. 2 courses for the month of October, then 3 courses at once from Nov. 5th to like December 15th. that's gonna suck major balls. I requested to work night shift the whole month to get the homework done there so I can enjoy my free time.
gotta work saturday, what a joke. have fun
