have an appoiitnment in half an hour, i think i have bronchitis. very
weak upper body.

last night at hockey was alright, 9 people, got to play a good bit.
me and this shitty Hugo kid, asian, can't skate, doesnt pressure at
all, doesnt really even try to get the puck on the boards. a few
times he "won" a few board battles, not sure how, no pressure from his
end.

i was in the netural zone, going from the right side to left turning
back up to the O zone as the Dman hits it up. suddenly, im taken out
from the right. hard. blindside hit. my neck is sore, a little stiff,
from it. it hurt when it happened, i wasnt very happy and tried to
trip the kid. i felt like it was a penalty. from his body position
he wasnt out of control, he never tried to stop. i never saw him but
i can tell from how his body was angled and how he skated off
afterwards that it was intentional. nobody saw it, apparently. i
felt it. luckily i didnt trip him.

one point, on the LW blueline corner a teammate help up a person on
the wall after a dump in. obvious penalty, i even called it, then he
was arguing with the ref, a few teammates told him to cal down, then
he smiled as he went to teh bench, not sure why he was mad, it was a
clear penalty.

stick lifts are whats its about in ice, roller hockey is different
without that offsides.

i played RW most of the night, i started out LW the first period. our
two centers won almost al lthe faceoffs, the older guy told me af ew
times the puck was comin to me, they would come in my general
direction. one time on i was in the O zone RW boards for the faceoff,
get the puck behind the C and pass it to the LDman, one timer. no
dice.

another time on the opposite dot puck goes back to LD, he passes to
RD, he shoots, i try to deflect, rebound, goalie must have fell
forward to get it, i whack it perfectly, goes well over the goalie
into the open net. iturned around and went back to the faceoff
circle. too easy.

we were winning 1-0, losing 3-1 after one. first loss coming up. 2nd
period its 5-3 us. i got the 4th, RD shoots and i deflect between the
pads. 5 hole. RIGHT before that the C comes behind the net, im WIDE
open in the crease, on the left side, teh side the C is coming to, so
i start moving right, he passes, and i put the puck just wide of the
net,i gotta work on those one timer angles, its difficult to get the
right angle. then like 5 second later i put er home.

once i came down on the forecheck, not sure what happened, think i was
trying to turn left to right and i wiped out. dropped my stick and
landed on it against the boards. felt weird, didnt hurt, ref asked me
if i was okay. must have looked really awkward, cuz i was mid turn
flyin into the boards. not sure how that happened.

we won 6-3, i got that 6th with less than 2 to go. too easy.

i have 3 really good sticks now.easton s7, warrior, and a mission.
s7 is probably the best. the warrior ahs the kovalev blade, too open.
the mission has the 8" plug, i didnt even use this stick, its too
long. has the kovalchuk blade which looks amazing. gotta cut that
plug down. i put the 2 inch plug from the mission (its a fairly short
stick, needs more than 2 inches) ont the warrior, maybe thats why i
kept losing the puck off my stick last night.

i did have one really good shot, teammate drops it off as we come
across the blue line closer to the R side, d is ahead skating back, i
look around and see the lower left of the goal is open, wrist it
pretty hard, fast, goalie made a nice leg save, guess i wasnt fast
enough, but the teammate said "nice shot" and it was. perfect
placement, exactly where i aimed, if i had it a few inches higher
might have gone over the pad, not sure, he wasnt down in the
butterfly, just had his leg kicked out at an angle.
