i agree. one person said both teams have teh same (i'd say its similar, definitely not the same) style of play. pens have more scoring depth, flyers probably do have a little more grittiness in the top 6 forwards, but our top 6 are better. neal, crosby, malkin, sully, kunitz, dupuis..staal .

kennedy, staal, letang, and crosby have significantly less GP than the flyers...penguins and injuries...playoffs is where everything matters.
pens have 398 points in top 10 compared to criers 363, with less man games...pens have MORE points in their 3rd-10th best players than the criers top 10...and thats with crosby, kennedy, letang, and staal having much less games. ridiculous.
criers need great goaltending...pens have significantly more shots per game..i believe 2 or 3 games pens had 20+ more shots.
and yeah, i believe rangers and boston (first off, Boston isnt going anywhere no matter what happens) aren't going past the 1st round. boston might beat caps (i dont even think thats likely, but its possible), but they clearly won't beat criers or pens or devils in 2nd round. Horton is gone, savard retired, or it'd be a different story.
as the announcers were saying at the pre0game show yesterday, the criers/pens series will see one of the best teams go out in the first round, and I believe one oif those teams will make it to the Cup. gotta go through Vancouver to get tehre.
I donts ee the pens losing, but we'll see. jagr and talbot will be a force, but they aren't that great. Pens need great D and fleury to be his brickwall self.
PP's dont matter much in the playoffs, unless you get a lot of chances. canucks went like 2 for 30 in the finals last year.
chicago isnt going anywhere without toews. even with him its gonna be tough., they really aren't that great. 6th, case closed.
maybe i'll buy NHL Vault near the end of the month, if pens are doing alright...5 bucks a month, then when you get back from peru you can watch the games. have emily login and disable teh scores so you never know befoerhand who wins, keep the suspense alive.
we'll see. i wouldn't mind having it so i can watch the ECF and WCF and SCF when im in class, even if the pens suck. cost 10 smackers for 2 months, too easy.
yeah that ist he lowest I've seen for the playoff points, noticed that last night.
la is 3-1 against the blues? how, both teams have no scoring, and blues have clearly D and G..

gonna make this quick.Ottawa beats the Rangers 3-1 in the season series.
Caps are 3-1 against the Bruins, but one OT win.
Panthers 2-2 against Devils.
What... Yahoo predicts Flyers to beat the Pens.. we'll see about that. Flyers have the scoring depth? hahahahahaha, you gotta be kidding me. probably equal. pens have better centers, no question.
LA is 3-1 against hte Blues. LA is beating the SHarks 2-1 , probably will win.
Phoenix is 3-1 against the Hawks.
Philly 4-2 against the Pens.
Nashville 3 - 3 Wangs.
East needed 90 points to make playoffs, West needed 91. Pretty sure that's the lowest I've ever seen.
