watched the first episode of the SHield. definitely not bad, but its clearly more plot driven than character driven. things happen too fast, sometimes illogically or without reason, just to move the action.
only first episode, nd clearly the bad guy is the story's focus, no other way to evolve the story.
someone said hte Wire was a helluva lot more realistic than the SHield. I bet.

guy's conclusion is tht the Wire is sealed in time, could only happen in the 90's or so, whereas the SHield could be any time. ill give the shield a chance, but i really have no idea how it could be better than the Wire.
10-15 page paper due Monday. probably not playing hockey Sunday, im pretty fuckin sore from working out. body needs a few days to relax. luckily we didnt hve PT today.
