well, for the terminally ill, just cant go around shootin them all hodgy podgy.

let me read this sanford story.

actually, i just spedn the last hour reading up on Mass Effect 3's ending.

if you care, heres the links:

http://www.forbes.com/sites/insertcoin/2012/03/21/did-the-real-mass-effect-3-ending-go-over-everyones-heads/  THis explains the ending. and this sums it up best: If it really was what they had in mind, it would be a master storytelling move viewed from one angle, as it's a huge mind-bending twist for players that was too high concept for almost everyone who played. (bold is my emphasis).

yeah dude, that ending is way too fuckin complex for anyone to understand while watching the first video.  .  you'd HAVE to go back and play ME1 and ME2.  I watched it and while I havent played through a good bit of ME3, I was thinking, thats a pretty basic ending...seems to tie everything up, but im sure theres a lot more (FROM THREE GAMES) that isn't answered.

then after watching that 22 min video, the Ending is not much different from Lost.

and there really is no ending, because reality is still happening while you're playing out the ending in Shepherd's head, so in reality nothing is resolved.

a lot of people think DLC was planned to actually tie up the games and conflicts.

yeah dude, its a sad day for gaming, because its not art anymore. its a business to make the most amount of money.  EA bought Bioware in 2006 or so, and we all know how EA loves selling fuckin DLC ...NHL, all the sports games, now this shit.  fuck that.

thats why I downloaded it.

I'll give some NHL analysis later.

You didn't hear about the defensive bounty? I know the Coach got fined like 500k and a one year suspension, the defensive coordinator at the time, now he's on St. Louis, is suspended indefinitely. I think the GM is suspended, too. could be wrong about the GM.

The comment about Sanford, FL is about that 17 year old that got shot, supposedly from self defense. I can assure you it was NOT self defense. Read up about that, man. White guy shoots a black kid in a gated community, I guess the kid was walking through to go home. He was on the phone with his girlfriend, you can read up about it. a LOT of controversy surrounding the whole ordeal, only 'cause it's white on black crime. The PO-lice couldn't arrest him 'cause there was no suspicion of wrongdoing. Maybe not at the time of the shooting, but well.. i'd be surprised if he doesn't get some kind of punishment.

Nah, dude, you don't wanna send your terminally ill loved one to a hospital. They may or may not take good care, doesn't really matter.. Terminally ill, might as well please the family and keep them at home or whever the family wants them. If in the hospital, then there ya go.

I have a patient right now, pretty sad story, all I'll say is that she's relatively young and the husband didn't know CPR, so she went over 10 minutes from the origin until the ambulance got there to do CPR.. if the husband performed CPR, she'd be alive. Now, she's gonna die. It reminds me of several stories I've read in which an athlete or random citizen needed an AED (automatic external defibrillator) to be revived but the location either doesn't have one or it doesn't work. Simple stuff, man, to save worthwhile lives.

You read about that soccer player that they shocked 20 times(!!!!) to get his heart working again.. I guess he was 'dead' for either one or three hours. A few hours after his heart finally started working after medications and the AED, he was talking, completely with it. Crazy. He's only 23 or so, pretty healthy, but 20 times, jesus, that's overkill, man. Somebody wanted that kid alive. I've never seen it more than 3 times, I've heard of 5.. 20 times, it's HIGHLY unlikely that person would even have any quality of life. That kid's lucky.
