played a game of nhl , not a bad game. I was winnin' 4-1, made the sucker quit. First goal - win the faceoff on LW circle back to the LD, skate R and immediately shoot bottom R, goalie never saw it. Feels good to get those 'cause they're well-earned, not garbage. Second goal was a cross slot one-timer. Third was a RWer wrister to bottom L and the easy rebound open netter. Any time you get a 2 on 1 with no clear pass, shoot bottom opposite corner for the rebound, a lot of people have tried it on me, can't really defend it so just gotta hope the goalie does the right thing or that the shot goes really wide.. or the rebound shot misses. Fourth goal was a beauty - RW faceoff in the O zone, Crosby wins it back to Malkin at the RD point (no idea why he was on the point, PP maybe?), skate L for one stride and immediately shoot bottom L, hits the goalie's leg pad and ricochets up into the netting. Guy quits, haha. Those point slappers are probably the best feel in the game for scoring. Last night I scored two slappers from the point that got deflected 5 hole. Those aren't quite as good but they're still better than cross crease and garbage goals.
