ah i forgot to mention the Preds loss.  even with Radulov or whoever they have no chance.

jack adams prolly go to Hitchcock and teh Blues.

blues/vancouver vs pens/pens

it'd be nice if washington gets 8th only so pens can destroy them, then destroy probably devils (or philly if panthers somehow win), then rags/philly.  in 2009, if the devils had savored their 1 goal lead for 1:20 more, the pens would have played all their ultimate rivals on the way to the Cup.  flyers, craps, (devils), wangs.

this year, it could be craps, devils, philly, (wangs)..i'm going with st louis.    blues and canucks beat each other twice, though blues have much more goals against the canucks and also haev an OTL to them.

nashville has beat the blues 4 times, lost once in OT.    just like 2009 when pens couldnt b eat the craps in reg season then owned them in teh playoffs.

that new pensblog post about pens records with each player's points...totally pointless stat. not even sure what value it adds to anything.

Norris - no idea, probably Lidstrom, they're doing poorly wtihout him so obviously he makes a huge difference.

Calder - no idea. doesn't matter, Nugent Hopkins maybe. Although there were two other guys in talks, no idea who they are, nor do I care.

Lady Byng - won't be cooke. datsyuk usually wins it. i'd have to check his penalty minutes. St. Louis is usually close to winning, too.

Selke - probably Bergeron. Staal will never win. Not on the Pens.

Jack Adams - Bylsma, hands down

Masterton - Crosby?

Ted Linday - the players vote for most outstanding player in the league.. Crosby or Malkin.

Messier Leadership award - nobody cares

The William M. Jennings Trophy is an annual National Hockey League award given to "the goalkeeper(s) having played a minimum of 25 games for the team with the fewest goals scored against it. Winners are selected based on regular-season play I'd give that to Lundquist. or Elliot. Or Halak, whoever gave up the least # of goals. probably Elliot.. then again

Elliot - GAA 1.62 games played (GP) 33 % 937 GA 52 Saves 779
Halak - GAA 1.85 GP 42 % 929 GA 77 Saves 1005
Lundquist - GAA 1.89 GP 53 % 934 GA 101 Saves 1426

I'd give the Vezina to Lundquist for playing much more with better percentage than Halak.. over 20 more games, no way Elliott is keeping his 0.937 %. Jennings is going to St. Louis, hands down. Not even close. They are #1 and #2 in the league in GAA, 1 and 4 in %, both tied for 3rd in Shutouts.

Oilers beat the PRedators last night 6-3. Preds aren't winning the Cup.
