carly is by far the best.

vino kinda sucked...I'd put him in second ahead of Tate, who clearly
fucked up some of his vocals. vino is always perfect, but that song
was lackluster.

Tate is a rehash of garth brooks. unoriginal. after last night he
has no shot at winning. same with vino. that leaves carly.

Fourth: Diamond white, the 13 year old black girl, eh, she needs to
improve her singing. very good, but not perfect

paige definitely improved. i'd give her fourth or fifth.

6th: fifth harmonby is good, but they have no shot at winning.

Played a game of nhl earlier. Won 2 1, guy gave me a good bit of breakaways.  Scored on two.  He only scored cuz the game said I missed a poke and then a check, o ususlly don't check while in the d zone but I had a third guy to block,  skating engine blows on occasion so he gets a shot that I never give up. 

I dominated the entire game.  Sharks are too Fn fast man, gave me a ton of ba's and odd man rushes. 

Bought 24 batteries, they don't typically last long.  $3 .  Buy me that one adapter.

Took five naps in past three days, been extremely tired.  Got eight hours sleep last night and woke up like I didn't sleep much.  Took a 1.5 hr nap, felt like shit . 

Still, caught up on all my studying. 

Ppl were saying that they're done watching voice  cuz that cody got booted. He was by far the worst.  It's too easy to evaluate skill.  All you need is a full voice, hit highs with precision and more importantly control, and have a good range.  Full voice is key.  One girl is decent bit she sounds immature.  Ask yourself, would you want to see this person live, and that's who you vote. You can tell skill usually within 5 , maybe 10 seconds. 
Skip to the middke of a song for the crescendo if unsure.

Two maybe three players in voice, three in x factor but that's already over.

Two tests next Friday, chem and micro.  That sucks. Then finals week after, wed is micro and Friday chem.

I guess ANgels and Airwaves came out with a new album last year. Coulda fooled me, you call that music? Even Jasper is covering his ears.  Talk about generic (c)rock.

I'd probably have to blame the producer(s).  after skimming through the songs a second time, i rate it slightly better, maybe a 2 out of 10 instead of a 1. hah

LaRoche Interview on Thursday, December 13th.  That's what I really have to study for. 95% of the questions are clinical-based so I gotta know my stuff.  I probably have 75% of the stuff memorized, but that's not good enough.

This doesn't even count all the BULLCRAP writing I have to do for that frickin' communciations class.  over the next 4 weeks I have to write like 15-20 pages single spaced. It's just a waste of my time. and I have to do it to get the A.   all for a total of 100 points.. are you kiddin' me? yeah, i'm not happy about it.  All I need is like an 84% 'cause I already have 10 bonus points.  the instructor is extremely lenient, too. can't complain about that.

i wouldnt bother with the first two parts of that fight, the first two videos.

the hendrickson KO'ed his opponent a minute into the fight with a
right jab (missed) but then a straight left power bomb directly into

played a few hours of that civilization V game. not really sure what
the point is, but I took out a bunch of cities, and I have the

Years later, Kerr would recall the early 1960s as an essentially conservative period, in which the development and momentum of the preceding decades were consolidated, systematized, and rationalized.

The Master Plan was meant to sort all college-bound high school graduates into three streams, and to make it possible for a student to move from the bottom tier to the top. The doors of the University of California were thrown open, tuition-free, for the top 12.5 percent of high school graduates. The top 33.3 percent could find a place in one of the California State Universities, which were also tuition-free. Everyone else, if they so chose, could go to one of the many California Community Colleges, which were open not only to high school graduates but also to qualifying non-traditional students. Perhaps most important, community college graduates had the opportunity to transfer to one of the UCs or CSUs to finish their bachelor's degree, if their grades were above a certain point. In theory and to a significant extent in practice, anyone from anywhere in California could, if they worked hard enough, get a bachelor's degree from one of the best universities in the country (and, therefore, in the world), almost free of charge. The pronounced social and economic mobility of the postwar period would have been unthinkable without institutions of mass higher education, like this one, provided at public expense.

i'm done with the gym for a while.  left shoulder and left knee are not up to working out.  my eating habits have gone down hill over the past 5 or 7 days.. was up to 169 or so, down to 162 now.  if i had my personal chef, wouldn't be an issue.  working night shift doesn't help, either.  well, in general, working doesn't help, 'cause night shift i'm not hungry (or if I am hugnry, i'll put off eating for a few hours so avoid getting tired), day shift I don't have as much time to eat.  

Another nurse switched that shift on December 6th, Thursday.  I gotta work Tuesday and Wednesday night that week, study for my test on the 6th, go home, sleep for 3 or 4 hours, take the test, come home to get my stuff and Emily, and we're leaving.  She works that day so we'll leave around 4 probably.  Get there at 1 or 2 am.  Emily wants to get a hotel room 'cause Mike said you guys had fleas or something like that.  Of course, she doesn't wanna even hear that, but i'm not getting stuck paying for a motel room and having to deal with moving back and forth between places. screw that.  we don't have the money, anyway. We got the new car yesterday.. Emily's dad's work car is now our's, he got a newer one last night.  Ford Fusion I think, silver.  85,000 miles in a little over 2 years.. that would suck to have to drive that much. 800+ miles a week. Jesus.   Costs us I believe 9,500, would have cost 12 or 13 large if we bought it from a dealer or private seller. can't pass that deal up for a new c ar, essentially.  her dad is really good about taking care of cars so no worries there.

then we're having a baby, i gotta pay my student loans, my current courses, courses in the spring maybe, all the other bills. not like we don't make enough, but when we have a baby, emily can't work for 12 weeks. that means no saving money.

i was lookin at people's service records on Halo 4 yesterday, at least 3 people had the game beat around 5 hours on easy and normal. one guy played the first level, only had 22 kills. doesn't even sound fun.   I played one Spartan Ops mission online, drive around in warthogs shooting the enemy. not engaging at all.
pretty good account of anti-Semitism.. I read it really fast, just skimmed. still, that guy was obviously intelligent

Just typed up a 600 word essay in 10 minutes or so. one full page single-spaced. too easy. such a joke.



That Halo 4 is definitely a good game. That single shot DMR is spot-on everytime, no matter how far away. The BR is good, too, but it's only mid-range. the burst fire is useless, might as well might it single shot 'cause they all hit at the same time or extremely close to simultaneously. I won't be playing it much over the next 3 weeks or more. Gotta study for this nutrition class, a certification for graduate school (don't really ahve to, but it will help tremendously with my interview[s].. i should definitely get interviews at both of the remaining schools). Hopefully I get accepted so I don't have to take chemistry II, A&P 2, and pharmacolgy in the spring. it's all a joke, man. jumping through hoops. I gott say though, this BSN is clearly the biggest waste of time of my life which is why I do it at work. it's worse than St. Francis, and that was almost a complete waste. Probably as bad as Jimmy's LBI or whatever that school was. West Virginia Institute or something?



gotta knock out 3 more essays tonight and man, i'll be home free for the real work I gotta do for my life.



I've never gotten more than a triple kill. Only got 2 of those ,I think. they're definitely rare. One game I was playing with two guys who had records like mine (2.2 or so kill:death ratio), we owned.. combined we went 34-4.. I was 8-0, they were both 12-2. they ended up leaving after the game which was too bad. I even told them "you guys are the best teammates I've had in Halo 4." It was funny 'cause the game before, they were on the opposite team, and I still went 11-7. They were obviuosly at the top of their team but they weren't 12-2.. probably closer to 15-8. I was wondering why they kept killing me. I hadn't palyed against anybody as good as them and still haven't.



Similarities to CoD, real quick. game players stay the same unless they leave. kill cam. loadouts. shield abilities (extra ammo, make 2nd weapon a primary, etc.), game perks like radar with zoom .. all of those are pointless except maybe extra ammo. you can get infinite running, but it's basically infinite as it is unless you're on Valhalla. really quick recharge. there's ap erk for quicker ability recharge. definitely not needed. i use the faster shield recharge but that's only for the actual charge time, not the time it takes to start charging. lame, isn't it?



Oh yeah, the best part about the game? none of the maps suck. except maybe Valhalla from Halo 3.



sold halo reach, mass effect 3, and witcher 2 for $47 total. halo 4 was basically free from my standpoint. $16 I guess.

here are my impressions of halo 4
gotta install the multiplayer from disc 2, then use disc 1 to play.
it's like CoD in a lot of ways - pick from 3 maps, unlock weapons (start out with assault rifle and pistol, but you get a third option in-game of using DMR, be stupid not to use it, even though you get hologram iwth it), instant respawn, kill-cam. 
I unlocked promethean vision, battle rifle, and at least 3 other things after my first game.
went 28-6 in my first game. i guess after 5 kills you get an instant-spawn weapon.. a promethean shotgun (no idea what it's called), or two others.. obviously I went with the shottie.  
promethean vision is definitely overpowered. you can see at least halfway across the small maps with it.  so if anyone's near, well, yo have an edge.  
the game is really easy so far. sure it's gonna be etough as hell when i get more games in.
so controls.. B is crouch now, Rb is melee. weird 'cause you cna't crouch and shoot now.
the game is definitely.. different of a feel. feels like a higher jump but the looking
just played that dominion gametype - yo ucan get a railgun (basically the spartan laser with the charge before shooting) and a stupid mech suit (with automatic gunfire.. it's really not useful though 'cause you're a walking target, and there were plenty of spots on the map for me ot hide .. never used it and have no interest.
ah man, that's fcking retarded - sometimes when you join a game, it joins a game already in progress, meaning you're on the losing side.. how the fuck is that fun for anybody? i guess it's better than the old system but that single handedly ruins it for me.
they have that stupid CTF map.. no idea what it's called, from halo 3 , with the river running down the middle. gay ass map.
ah, nice. they have new gametypes: CTF, oddball, KOTH.  don't have to worry about playing team objective and getting a stupid gametype/map anymore.
after 2 games, i dn't see this game lasting. haha. oh well. half the game is free for me, basically. just gotta sell the witcher 2.  already sold Halo Reach and Mass effect 3.. that's $27.  i knew it'd be a waste of a purchase, no way i'm ever buying another videogame.

holy shit, you gotta be kidding me. they have a regeneration field.. tell me that's not a direct ripoff of that ShadowRun game.  wow. that's totally lame.
there's a thruster pack, jet pack, hologram, hardlight shield, camo, autosentry (auto turret i guess, a direct ripoff of Team Fortress 2), and the regen field for abilities. i dont know man. i'm taking promethean.   jesus, it's way too powerful. not even fair. well, i guess it is, everybody else could use it.  doesn't work as well on the larger and more open maps


redbox had assassin's creed III at Sheetz - first time I've gone to one of those in a long time. jesus, they overprice everything, man. it's like the Dick's of convenience stores, but then again they're all expensive. they do have a larger selecdtion than anybody else.  

there's a promethean sniper. looks like they just replaced the covenant weapons with promethean.. i can't even imagine the single player, it's gotta be horrible. no interest.

final impressions: plays like halo. single shot dmr actually works. if that was in Reach wtih no bloom, that game would have been awesome.   this game is definitely better.  still not gonna last a long time, but it's a decent time killer
