I just watched the whole fight twice and that first round 4 times in slow mo.

Let me state this, the first time i saw the fight i thought hendricks won clearly, just because when you look at it on the face of it Hendricks won that fight as a whole Then after a couple minutes i sat down calmed down and analyzed it.

I have come up with two answers. the first is that rounds 2-5 were judged completely correctly. with hendricks clearly winning 2 and 4 and GSP winning 3 and 5

Second, the first was absurdly close.

GSP actually out landed him, what i counted as 16-15. I believe fight metric had it 19-18. I guess they count un clean shots more than me. The other key factor was GSP had a clean takedown with about 40 seconds of top control. While hendricks had a trip takedown that GSP bounced back up on. GSP also controlled the ring in the first, and initiated 4 out of 5 clinches. The big factor was Hendricks also had about 4 elbows when gsp was going for a takedown. So IMO opinion GSP out-landed him but Hendricks had the heavier shots in he round. I personally think a draw would have been fair, based on the scoring system. However what is clear is that anyone saying this is a robbery is either watching off emotion without taking time to watch again *cough Dana cough* It was very close and the judges had a tough decision.

it really could have gone either way based on the judges scoring of 
- Octogon control, significant strikes landed and Grappling superiority. 
- What isnt is actually damage, which is not a factor in the fights, which is half fair as GSP is always gonna cut way easier due to having way more scar tissue.

So while most feel Hendricks won (i dont completely disagree) it was not a robbery. If anything it is a fault in the rules

More importantly though is that i think people should respect GSP decisions to retire, he has been the champ longer than anybody and frankly i think he is sick of MMA. He has been fighting for 16 years since he was 17, and really since he was a kid. Feel free to respond respectfully.

Sorry but you're wrong. Everyone saying that Hendricks got robbed has no idea how UFC/MMA fights are scored. Watch the fight again. It takes more than a couple of clean shots and takedowns to take a belt. The judges don't make decisions on "feel" or "damage", decisions are made based on a precise point scoring system, and 2/3 judges saw that Hendricks didn't outscore GSP. End of story.

Saying that Hendricks was a clear winner is wrong. It was a really close fight, which was reflected in the result - split decision - but you can't nickel and dime a title shot - knock the guy out, submit him, win convincingly on points, or accept the judges decision

In fairness to everybody, it wasn't a Hendricks runaway, but I thought a clear 48-47 across the board in his favor. GSP was the clear aggressor throughout the fight. Hendricks did little on the ground, and his standup was - of the whole fight - inferior to GSPs. He just did more damage. He rocked GSP once and cut him up. GSP bleeds easy - any fan knows this.

Hendricks surely can hit hard but he didn't capitalize effectively. His ability to do just that cost him. I think he was relying mostly on his left hand, which is very dangerous, but he needed to use his jab more. That was I was saying through the entire fight. And he seemed to not really care about getting hit. Even though those strikes that St. Pierre landed were merely gentle strokes, they still count as landed strikes and points earned.

A few minutes before I started doing squats yesterday, of course my left knee was telling me "don't do it, Ryan, unless you want me to hurt." Too bad, I thought. If I don't do 'em, it'll hurt anyway. 12 reps of 225. Too easy. Do some stretching of my hip flexors. Increase the weight to 245. I do one, no problem. On the second one, my left hamstring or glute, not sure which, definitely started to hurt. I did twelve of them, then immediately stretched my hamstrings out. I wouldn't say 245 is hard, but I can't go to parallel.. maybe 80% of the way down or so.
Today, my hammies and glutes feel ok, knees feel a bit weird. I'll probably wait a week before doing squats again. Sucks though, 'cause I work today, Friday, Monday, and Tuesday. 4 out of 6 days.

Usually, references is its own document.  

I would seriously consider keeping the resume within one page.  Yesterday, I received a letter from some alumni at St. Francis U., going on about how good SFU was to him as the only Muslim student, blah blah blah.. it was two pages. you think I'm readin that? fuck that.  I'd make references it's own document, make the page margins smaller.. it should fill a page.  If you have to, put less space between each section.

And like I said earlier this week, I'm pretty sure that she doesn't need to be licensed/certified to be a pharmacy tech. none of the ones I talked to said they were for PA. one guy had a certification in California, though.

Basically how it boils down

To be honest I consider season five to be the low point, or more accurately, the falling action. Season 4 finale was the climax of the series; all loose ends were tied up. Season 5 was the cooling down before the end, we knew where this was headed right off the bat in season 5, though we didn't know the cause until the very last moments of mid-season finale. I don't think it was bad, just the least interesting. The last season was about wrapping up the story, it did it's job well. Maybe it's just me but I think they kinda jumped the shark with the of season 4. They wrote themselves into a corner simply by making something soo freaking good that they couldn't surpass that bar they set themselves.

People on breaking bad saying wire is the best show, with sopranos and mad men and bb the top four.

I'll start watching mad men at some point. Maybe give sopranos another shot, but the first nine episodes were pretty bland.

Put an s at the end of medical and pharmacy operation. That two years of no security violations...she was there for 8 months apparently, doesn't add up. Change picked up orders to....probably take that out, filled orders is good enough.

dude, we're getting ripped off. the final 2 episodes of Breaking Bad are 75 minutes each.... with commercials. so the final episode's still only gonna be like 50-55 minutes. hopefully couchtuner works on my tablet for tomorrow night at work man.

the old bike (the one that got stolen, and I"m keeping it) feels like it runs better than that new one i bought (it's reconstructed, so that's probably why).. I changed the oil in the new bike yesterday, but I'm never riding it again, so.. pointless I guess. I called the shop right after I changed the oil, and they were like "yeah, it's done." hot damn, son, I wouldn't have changed it if I knew that. Gotta take some pictures and put it on craigslist.



the old bike is only 1500 rpms above the speed.. the other bike is usually 20, sometimes slightly more than that. no wonder the gas mileage sucks. the reconstruction probably didn't help, either. this old bike feels so much more smooth on the transmission, gas, no complaints. Hopefully I can sell the new bike before next May when we move to Charleston.

interesting theory, not sure how it would play out though:

I don't think Walt will be storming the Aryan compound and shooting up the place, like a lot of people are expecting. In 501, Walt definitively says that the M60 "won't be leaving town". The compound is clearly in the desert, way outside of town. Walt has no doubt that his plan with the weapon will be executed within ABQ.

There are a lot of theories about the show ending like Scarface. How did Scarface end? A shootout in a mansion. Who do we know owns a mansion on this show? Gretchen and Elliot.

Walt knows the gang well, and wouldn't want to fight them on their own turf. Perhaps he lures the Nazis to the mansion and kills them. He wouldn't need to necessarily harm Gretchen and Elliot. The commotion from such an incident would tie them to the whole operation. At least, it would for just long enough to cause serious damage to Grey Matter. Two birds, one stone.

I'll tell you what happens (this is my theory before reading any spoilers) - Dexter and Hannah don't get on the plane 'cause of the storm grounding all flights. Deb isn't there to protect Dexter anymore 'cause of the gunshot wound which puts Dexter at a disadvantage against the Brain Surgeon, the Brain SUrgeon probably kills someone (can't be Deb[ unless she dies from the wound WHICH NO WAY THAT WOULD HAPPEN IN REAL LIFE], so maybe Hannah who is pretty pointless anyway if you think about it, but she's made to seem important because she's the girlfriend.. Harrison would be too tragic of a death, can't kill a kid, man, to end the series.. Masuka they could kill, Quinn would be pretty serious, Batista.. nobody hates him so no reason to kill him, so I'm guessing Quinn or Hannah, with Deb potentially dying unrealistically). Dexter lives on without consequences. The series probably ends on an ambiguous note along the lines of that Patrick guy from Boondock Saints finding out about Dexter. There has to be some ambiguity regarding Dexter's lifestyle to end the show.. unless he goes to Argentina. He's already retired (it's his last day in Miami, last day on the force), so he either dies or goes away. If he dies, it's at the very end obviously. I can guarantee with 99.999% accuracy that he isn't dying. It's called Dexter for a reason.

n 2 tings about this episode: 1) pretty obvious who put the bid on the house and wants to meet. no shocker there.

lost 4 pts total in a shootout.  finally it rewards you for being good competition.  guy was decent, but some of his goals were bs.  i scored shortside wristers 3 of the 4 goals. works a lot, esp if you watch the goalie's movement on a 2-1.

i'd buy it, why not.  i played three games this morning, went 3-0.  first two games were against the same player, i took Pitt first game, i think he took the hawks.  second game he took Toronto, believe I took Colorado.  I took colorado last night and did well.  we went into OT tied 0-0, i won off a heavy pressure forecheck.  guy wasnt very good, should have never went to OT.

After the last four seasons, there're plenty of good reasons why. as one commenter said: last season proved to use that we don't need 82 games in a season. and it's hard to get as excited about game 1 or game 82 as it is for playoffs.

Walt sat by the pool for a Loooooong time at the hotel, when he does this, he hatches one of his huge elaborate plans that has many moving parts, have to be timed right and one where he needs a little bit of luck as Jesse has already pointed out. The first part of the plan was calling Todd's group…let me walk you through what the rest of his plan is and how the show will follow. Walt is calling Todd's group not to fake his own death, fake his own kidnapping or put a hit on Jesse/Hank as so many speculate. He is calling for a kidnapping of Brock and Andrea as this is the only thing Jesse truly cares about. He will justify that this to Todd's group as it needs to be done because Jesse has talked to the DEA. (Walt has an ulterior motive for doing this, obviously, I will get back to it) This will FREAK Lydia out. Lydia contacts Walt asking what is going on, Walt explains that everything is under control, Jesse will no longer deal with DEA and everything is fine. Lydia thinks Walt/Jesse are setting them up with DEA and wants to go after DEA, Walt and Jessie. She goes after DEA first. Lydia decides to hit Hank at his home, everyone survives but Marie is freaked out now, she shows Gomie the Walt "confession" tape. Gomie BELIEVES WALT, remembers how weird Hank has been acting, very secretive and has Hank brought in with the tape as evidence. ALSO, it is believed Walt is dead. While all this is happening two other things happen, Walt learns of the Lydia hit on Hanks house. He freaks out and gets the vacuum guy for his family (hence the new look at the Denny's). But probably before this, Walt tells Jesse about Brock and Andrea kidnapped, which completely erases from Jesse what Walt did and they must now save them (Walt convinces Jesse of this, manipulates him ONE LAST TIME). So, where are we right now….The public thinks Hanks is a Druglord corrupt cop, Marie ratted on him, Walt is dead (explains neighbors reaction), Jesse thinks Brock and Andrea were taken because he talked to DEA, teams up with Walt to get them back. Skyler and kids are safe somewhere under new identities. So, Walt goes to house after picking up M60 and gets the Ricin (M60 for Todd thugs [Jesse kills Todd] Ricin for Lydia). Walt and Jesse save Andrea and Brock. Andrea Brock and Jesse live happily ever after, Walt and Family are safe under new identities. Saul opens Laser Tag business, new show spin off.

He was half-squatting and half-rowing.   They were doing pushups on the barbells.. hAAHAHAHAHAHAHA, pushups if you wanna call it that.  the one kid looked like a dolphin out of water, propping his ass in the air going down, dipping it down on the way up.  Then, when doing 'squats' his feet were behind his body, he'd go down like 33% of the way, knees would flare outward, HAHAHAHAHAHA. I was shaking my head the whole time.. another buff guy was watching them but not doing/saying anything.. he had to be making fun of them in his head.     The weird thing, though, is that they were muscular.  Skinny and sorta muscular.. I guess just low body fat.  made no sense

NHL, 66-7-2.  lost two games yesterday, one guy kept doing the low opposite blocker, easy to defend but sometimes you get unlucky and it works. oh well.    level 54 i think. i usually play one game and i'm done.  played one game this morning , got two penalty shots.. I always do a spin-o-rama at the beginning, go up on the forehandside, fake the forehand and go backhand. if you do it right, it'd be almost impossible to stop, 'cause they think you're going forehand.  you basically have to cut laterally at the crease or really close to it. opens up half of the net.    i have a total of 79 goals against. 270 or so for.  PK is 87%, PP is like 30 or 35%.  crazy.  i dont keep track of those stats, just happened to go in and look at some of the opponents ranks and saw that stuff.   oh yeah, 35 shutouts, haha.

level 60, rank 2000 exact.  no big deal.

played a guy, he was giving me breakways and odd man rushes constantly.  went up 2-0 early, should've been 3-0 by the end of the 1st, bullshit slap one timer cross crease denied.  no way in real life that gets saved.

scored early in the 2nd, he quit.  he was rank 54, no idea how he got that high.

played a game before that, won 3-2 when i scored with 15 sec left. guy was 59 i believe.

just played a third game.  guy started off with a backhand pass.  wanted to quit but eh, stuck it out.  he scores off a low opp shot rebound.

whatever.  i tallied a goal...he tallied an own goal, 1-1. 2nd period, PP time.  exact same play as low opp rebound. in my favor. (oh yeah, that guy i beat 3-0, i scored a 3-5 SH off a breakaway.  guy pinched and i poked for the home run) then i had a semi breakaway...his lone D was off near the R boards, im coming up the middle.  I wait until he stepped in front of me and shot, high slot, he screened the goalie for me...he did all the work, muahahha.

dexter wasn't bad, but it was obviuos tat Vogel and er son were working togeter.  it must be tat way or else te sow would really leave out te suspense. eac season as its twists, and tat was easy to figure out.  dexter isn't leaving Miami, and if e does, it's brief.  I'll say tis: if Dexter dies from tat doucebag son, worst ending ever.  won't appen, so I'm not worried.  Vogel needs to die if anybody.

son recognized Dexter at te cafe? please. no way.  is back was turned te entire time.

I'm gonna lay it out: te easiest goal to score in te game: probably works on bot sides, but it's easy on te RW faceoff circle in te O zone.  win te faceoff to te left , skate left a stride to two, soot top rigt. i got it 2 out of 3 times, wit te 3rd goin' off te post.

i won 2 games earlier, 5-2 and ten 3-0 before te guy quit.  too easy.

breaking bad, tat was probably te best episode since season 4.  te dinner scene could ave been sortened, but it was necessary to ave it.  anybody wo tougt tat pinkman was leaving is an idiot.  Te sow needs im, and it got a lot more interesting because of it.

cloud atlas, even others said theres a lot of "big" words.  i read the first 2 or 3 pages a while ago.  author came across as a pompous asshat.

might be a good book. but jesus, dont gotta belittle the reader/audience with an audacious use of literary skills.

dexter...blows.  no two ways about it.   i mean anyone that didnt see Vogel was at least an accomplice never watched Dexter before.  the whole neighbor bullshit being her long lost son...ill put it this way: dexter asks why that specific song was playing in his house - Vogel goes "I dont know, but i listen to it on occasion". fast forward to the next scene between them: Vogel "Oh my long lost son who was in a mental hospital in England used to listen to that down at the Drug store on teh corner". .

FUCK THAT.  laziest fucking writing I've ever seen.

what, so Vogel is gonna "protect" her son and help him get Dexter?  i honestly couldnt care at this point. two or three episodes left.  who cares.

and from last episode, should have been clear the neighbor was involved.  when Quinn asked him if he ever saw the kid, the neighbor feigns knowledge, when he clearly saw him right before the neighbor woman is killed.  i didnt understand why he said he didnt know...guess I thought Quinn should have known, but no reason he should have.

Breaking Bad.  pretty good show.  a lot of people saying "twist" between Hank/Marie and Skysenburg was unexpected.   people were talkinga bout that two weeks ago, right when it happened I said "yep, thats about the only way this story can go"...but if you dont pay attention to teh show, its a "twist".

last two ior three episodes will wrap up nicely.
