The Detroit Red Wings have more wins (and points) than any other team in the NHL….and are below .500 on the road.

Take from that what you want: "holy hell they're good at home" or "holy hell they're bad on the road," but those are the numbers. 13-14-0 on the road, and 20-2-1 (!) at home.

RE: [Madness Writers] 1/31/2012 09:27:00 AM

That discovery site won't load, all i could find online was that the spacecraft was some 1967 lunar module that got lost due to going on the dark side of the moon.. oooooh, who cares.

6 times more powerful graphics? i bet it is, think about teh old xbox wtih the 360. it's probably 6x more powerful. 6x isn't that impressive, actually. no 3d? who cares, nobody wants to pay for 3d.

i might download star wars.

the only question i have is: will it work on our computers?

i heard it's basically a single player experience with no new gameplay mechanics that you can play online wthi other people if you want. $15 for that? not worth it.. you're paying for coop and to fund the budget of the game

star wars in 3 hours.  intro video was decent, but just that: a video.

graphics look kinda dumbed down, but the story apparently is excellent, like Mass Effect in a bigger world with more characters.  more of a single player experience, unless you have friends to play with, i guess.  doesnt matter, ill play it a month for free, see what its all about,.

got nothing else to do outside of grad school

off to class, fuckin retarded

hilarious   too bad the NHL would never do that.

also, decent article on Parise.  one of the better articles ive seen on PuckJokeDaddy

devils are done, bankrupt.  wonder if ilya had a play in that. hahahahahhaha

gonna play star wars when i get home

Jeez, '60s style goaltending.  Oh yeah, dude, did you see those videos of Montreal/Detroit from the 50s?  Those guys played frickin' harder than I thought.  One guy actually shoved another guy into the boards, not boarding 'cause they were both standing, but it was a hard push.  Another guy checked a guy in open ice, and the goalie wasn't wearing a mask, comes out to challenge the half-breakaway wtih NO MASK.  no idea why they played wtih no mask.  I'm sure the guys couldn't shoot 100mph, but a 70mph slapper wouldn't feel much better.

Ineresting, you say the one Dman is probably the best player in the league, then later you say you're the best on the team, implying you're the best in the league.  haha, so which is it, son?

Re: [Madness Writers] Re: [Madness Writers] 1/26/2012 04:35:00 PM

maybe, the 30 dollar one,.  crazy price, all it is is an attachment that goes on your headphones, but i really olnly see entire headsets with the plug, maybe the 60 one is better, no idea.  cant be any better i wouldnt think, maybe better quality headphones, but thats not the bud adaptor.

anywya, played tonight.  sucks it ends later, 10:20 was the end time.

2-2 tie.  should have been 3-2 us, our one defense womna, she's good, she wsa coming down the ice on the left on 1 on 2, but the Dman in front of her went to the bench, no idea what the hell he ws thinking, stupidest line change in history.  so now its a breakaway since the other Dman ws to her right too far over.   she shoots, 5 hole. booooom.

we're celebrating, then the refs are conversing.   no goal.  what?  a slash WAY before thta play even develops apparently happened.  nobody knows what happened.  so we tied instead.

we're losing 1-0, i go out 2nd shift and the puck is going to our O zone in the neutrla.  my shittiest winger is gonna be in a battle for the puck with a dman, both chasing it down.  im in the middle, they';re to the right.  we cross the blue line, somehow my winger smacks it and it comes to me.  there ws another dman in between us but behind a bit.   the puck bounces towards the goal, took a weird bounce toward the left (far post) slightly  (someone asked if it hit the goalie first, i dont think it did, couldnt have)and hit my stick as the goalie was sliding over, went in. i think it was going in either way, i just guided it in a little quicker.   perfect play man, surprised even myself.

pumped my fist, everyone was excited.  i didnt expect it, surprising what some of the not good people can do.

our first shift in the 2nd we were in the O zone the entire time.  i went back to play D to cover the Dman in the corner.  he made a bunch of passes, kept coming back to him, so i slid in back door, went too far ahead, reached out and stopped it s the other Dman came over ot help.  i went to pull it back to line up for a high slot snapper, but the dman took it for a shot.  cant complain about it, but i was in a better position since we were both right hnded.

that 2 min ws like that Sedin video where they owned in the Ozone.  no goal.  hahahahhahahahaha

i know the last two shifts i had the puck and flew up the zone.  first time i deked to the left, fuckin winger hit it forward as i went to deke again, no idea whaat he was thinking.  so i went around hte net, but i wsa too tired to really do anything, protected the puck, threw it to net, but nothing.

near the beginning i was on the right of the net on a 2-2, threw it to my teammate in the crease but went slightly b ehind him,  another teammate was further to the left, puck ws too far in front of him, haha.

winger had a breakaway in the third.  tried a decent deke to his forehand.  hit the goalies leg pad.

throat doenst feel all too good.  chest hurts a little.  talked to that breakaway guy before the game, he said i'd be doing a stress test at the cardiology place.  guess thats about all i can do now to see whats up.  cardiology said it would take 30 minutes, it was an EKG...i did that at the hospital and the clinic, took like 2 seconds.  guy said the stress test was on a treadmill.  i hope they both mean the same thing, doesnt sound like it though.

the treadmill stress test the only test that can do anything.

what else.  oh, second time near the end i had the puck on the right, flew up the boards , was too tired, wasnt bending my knees good enough cuz of fatigue and kind of lost my balance, pretty much gave the puck up.  im pretty good at puck control.  dont even really try, just kinda know whats gonna work. couldnt even imagine inloine hockey, be even easier with all that room.  i keep my head up, or at least peripheral vision I know where people are. sometimes i focus on the puck, but thats only when im focused on a rush, but i still know where people are.

oh yeah, the other team's first goal, the Dman, pretty good, one of the better peoplei n the league, he gets the puick and takes a rush up ice.  its a 1-1, nd im backchecking hard.  he drop passes to the goalie's left of the crease, i stop on the right to not screen the goalie (i ws moving very fast, couldnt stop to get the puck), fuckin goalie never went down teh entire game.  puck went to the left WHILE ON THE ICE to the post and in.  i wasnt very happy about that.    i went to the bench nd asked "what the hell was the goalie doing?"  nobody could really answer.  all i saw ws the goalie go out a little to challenge, standing up. looked like some 1960's style, pretty much gave them the goal for free.

not my bad, i played hard on the backcheck, no idea where the other Dman was, cuz the first was playin the rushing Dman.

im fast, decent hands. good awareness.  i didnt make too many wonderful passes like i usually do.  was getting the piuck off the boards a lot better thn usual though. a lot of times my stick wont grab it or the puck bounces around too much.

minute and a half is probably the best duration/energy shift.  2 min starts pushing, nything after that is too long.  last shift was probably 3 min, had two rushes down ice, i was dead.  only 2nd shift of the third.  3 in the1st nd 3 in the 2nd, not a bad game.  only reason it ws less in the 3rd ws cuz the center got tht slashing penalty on the non-goal.  so i let the other people play, wasnt getting greedy, not until i mistakenly took a 3 min shift.  nobody was telling me to get off and i wasnt paying attention.

we were dominating most of the game.  last min the other team had too many chances in their O zone.  no OT, pretty lame.

im probably the best player on the team, not really sayin much.  the penalty center is good, probably better in the corner boards.  not as fast, not as good hands.  not really sayin much.

I don't think I've been working my body out hard enough at the gym. I always feel tired, but it's more of a cardio tired, not so much of a muscle tired. Not tired enough, anyway, is what I should say.

I either have a bone contusion on my left elbow or tendonitis. I'm guessing contusion from falling on it back on Oct. 31

haha, "my only request is don't bother me" good stuff. can't study grad school, though, in class? that's lame. no wonder you're bored.

I wanted to go skate tomorrow but my back is killing me from working. Wouldn't be smart to go skate.

Emily works tomorrow from 1-9 so we'll have all night to play some halo. I'll go to the gym around 1 probably. I might go skate, i know i'll want to, but we'll see. All depends on how I feel tomorrow.

Josh texted me about going to some stores to get a quote on uniforms with the logo and cell phone stores for services. might go this weekend to get an idea

Re: [Madness Writers] 1/26/2012 03:54:00 AM

fuck this class man. so fuckin easy.  waste of my time.

gives me no motivation to want to go home and study listening.

sit here bored out of my mind, i dont have to try hard to make it known i have no interest in this class.  fuckin stupid.

fuck that sergeatn who said i cant study grad school..id be a hell of a lot more motiavted to go home with nothing else to do but study listening.  oh wait, he didnt finish his grad school. well fuck you buddy, dont fuckin waste my time. 3rd day of class i said "just dont bother me, thats my only request" to the classroom.  said it in a nice humorous way to not be a dick about it.  people understood, im good at this shit, so dont bother me. i gt shit to do,.

pensblog mentions the gomez no goal in a year

i mentioned gomez' contract was the worst contract in NHL history about a year ago.  no idea how someone that bad gets a contract that good.  he shouldnt even be in the NHL.

yeah, told you that was a goaltending clinic last night.  i was thinkin "i bet the winning goalie gets #1 star tonight" even though that one guy had 2 goals.  MAF with the #1, those two goals werent his fault, cant save em all.

fell asleep from 630-915.  fricken tired man.

rosie had her puppies.  4, a silver, tan, and 2 spades.

heather's getting her bonus, got approved.  doesnt matter when we get the money, it'll be nice to have.   i told her she could get any car she wanted if she got the bonus.  mistke on my part.  she wants a 20,000 coupe countryman, wtf kind of name is that.  "but it gets 37 mpg highway and like 25 city"  fuck that, if im dropping 20,000 im getting hte prius, 50mpg.  i dont care how much power it has or doesnt have.

watching the Pen's highlights.

DANNNNNG, Neal slices and dices from the circle slot area.. TK's patented shooting area. TERRIBLE D on that play.. Wow, 4 guys near the puck, Neal in the back door WIDE OPEN. hahaha, Blues aren't winning the Cup.  When I played hockey, I was always thinking of playing too far ahead, leaving hte back door wide open just like that.  Gotta think.. those guys are in the NHL, they know better.

Interesting, during that Neal goal, Malkin is below the goal line with his stick ready for the pass for the easy one timer.  Neal shoots it, though.  That puck was going in no matter what. perfect Offensive Play.

Jesus, Neal and Malkin have incredible chemistry.  Ridiculous.

Malkin. Jesus, too good man. Countless saves on top of his head.  Countless saves with a leg pad.  Too good, man. Too frickin' good.

WOW, there's that shot you were talking about last night. Goes from LD to RW, or LW to RW, fleury goes to the RW side, goes down and puts his glove hand up, puck goes over the net.  DUde, even if he went low R corner, his leg was savin that.  Unbelievable play by Fleury. It happens so fast, no wonder he shot high - shooting middle right would have been too risky to think about that quickly.

Sully with the mid-air whack. 2-0.

ahh, bad D on the Penguins there to make it 2-1.

1.5 headed monster - Malkin up LW, The Real Deal up RW, malkin saucer passes for the one timer, Neal hsoots into the sliding-over goalie.

ANOTHER LEG PAD SAVE. Man, he's too good.

How does Letang get beat on the game tying goal? that maks no sense, he's not that slow.  oh, it turned into the PS.. gonna say, that puck didnt' go in.  Goes in on the PS, though.

WOW WHAT A SPINORAMA BY MALKIN .. Jeeez, that threw me off man, no wonder why the Dman got his ankles broken, haha.

nice fake shot by Kunitz to get the game winner shootout goal.

RE: [Madness Writers] Re: [Madness Writers] RE: [Madness Writers] 1/25/2012 01:22:00 PM

If Crosby comes back, Pittsburgh is by far #1. I'd say Boston 2nd. Vancouver 3rd, SJ 4th, Detroit 5th. Chicago just doesn't have the D, man. I'm going with SJ over Detroit 'cause they had their number the last two playoffs. I don't see the Rangers winning it. Not elite enough.

Re: [Madness Writers] RE: [Madness Writers] 1/25/2012 01:22:00 PM

nashville?  no way they'er winning.

vancouver, i wouldnt mind.  with crosby the bets are 1 pitt, 2 boston, 3 rangers in the east.  philly rounds out the top 4 but dont get too excited ranger fan beaters.

west, dont really know or care.  probably van, chicgo/sj..throw in the wangs for top 4, blues maybe in there but i doubt it.

Wow, Chicago's D sucks, gave up more goals than most teams have scored. That Leaves DET, VAN, SJ, and NAS. If I had to go by today, I'd go with DET, but they're done , and they know it.

West must be all D, 'cause not too many teams have above 140 goals (3 teams). East has a ton of teams above 130, 5 above 150. I wouldn't mind seeing VAN win it all. Nashville would be a nice surprise.

48, 71, and 18 in the ASG.

Only 2.5 months 'til playoffs.

Wow, Tampa is in 11th now, moved up like 3 places overnight. It's really a race for bottom dweller - 4 teams wtih 45 points, TB with 46. Eastern Playoffs are basically set, either NJ or Toronto not gonna make it.

Looks like Pittsburgh/Rangers/Boston(/and maybe Philly) vs.

berglund, got the PS, is 0-7 in career shooutouts.

fluery stonewalls him, should hve done that the irst time, dang.   letang up: no dice.  slow approach.

shattenkirk, who the hell, haha: fleury says....look what my glove found.  malkin probbly next.  yep, he's up.  and he says...BOOOOOOOOOM MOTEHRFUCKER, SIT THE FUCK DOWN ELLIOT.   BOOOOOOOOM

we're takin these 2 uckin points this game. no questions asked.     lots of pens fans in that crowd, their chants earlier were "Lets GO XXX"  sounded like PENS to me, haha.

slow approcah by the blue, oshie.  wtf, slowest goal ever.

neal can seal the deal with the real kill. and he says....missed the goal. looks like it stayed on his stick longer than he wanted.

Dman up for blues.  delays between each shot, no idea whats goin on.

HHHAHAHAHHAHAHAh poke checked.  fuck you says fluery.  eat my stick.  he must have a magnet in that stick, muhahha.

malkin and neal on a 2-2, no dice.  malkin later on a 1 on 1, comes down across the high slot to left, then spin o rama back to center slot, backhnd, no dice.

HUGE HUGE save by fluery on that 4-3 in OT.   cross crease pass, huge leg save to save the day.   3 min to go, still in it.

Holy shit mn, what a game.   that was some intense hockey the last two minutes of the game.  huge save by fleury AGAIN, left pad on that last one, no idea how he saved that last, even better than that early OT save.

malkin and neal on a 2-2, no dice.  malkin later on a 1 on 1, comes down across the high slot to left, then spin o rama back to center slot, backhnd, no dice.

goaltending clinic going on.  off to the SO

http://blogs.thescore.com/nhl/2012/01/24/systems-analyst-the-curious-case-of-the-missing-staal-and-napping-nodl/  wtf is staal? jesus, he must have fallen behind the opposite net and then slowly skated to the D zone.  or maybe his teammate took forever to get to the bench fora line change. no other explanation for why it took him so long to get back.

Before Ladd gained possession and entered the offensive zone, Brandon Sutter was crushed by a beautiful check from Antropov (I believe) between the circles in Jet's zone. Sutter stayed down for a few moments and didn't make it to the bench before Ladd was entering the zone, and that's when Staal come over the boards.

I did 610 lbs on the leg press.  The thing is that I couldn't go as low and then after 5 of them I almost lost complete control and blew out my legs/back.  Luckily I put the lever stop in place just in time or else it would have been an extremely bad result.

I kept taking weight off until I could push it back into the normal starting position, was down to 340 lbs.  I did 20 of 'em in a much more natural, low-squat position.  By 15 I was done cardiovascularly but I pressed on.  After 20, I could barely even stand.

Later on, I did 90 lbs on the smith squat.  3 sets of 12.  It was hurting my chest, man.  I could breathe, but I felt like I was gonna throw up.

Did lunges, normally 3 sets of 15 on each leg to warm up. It's a joke but a good warm up.  Gets my heart rate up a bit, keeps my legs fresh.

125 lbs leg curl for the hammies, 3 sets of 12.  Probably ap erfect weight. I could maybe do 130 or 135.

Leg adductors, 3 sets of 12, 110 lbs the first set , 120 the 2nd and 3rd.  I think I only did 8 on the 3rd set.  Helps build my VMOs to keep my knees strong / balanced.

I was thinking of going skating today, got 3 hours to decide. MOst likely not going to. Probably Friday since EMily works 1-9.

Penguins tongiht, I'll probably watch since they're not playing again until next week due to All stars.

I watched the videos before reading any commentary.  I'll all say is that yeah, Michalek's bottom half hits the guy's body first, but he clearly has his arm extended towards teh guy's upper body. He might not be intending to hit him in the back of the head, but his arm up is going to hit it anyway so there should have been some type of discplinary action, a fine at least.

funny, the NBC crew obviuosly focuses on Ovie the whole 3rd period, and whaddaya know : they're focusing on the wrong Russian. Sure, Ovie gets 2 assists and a goal, but so does Malkin, and Malkin's As are both primary, Ovie's are both secondary, and Malkin's G is the game winner.. Geee, wrong Russians, folks.

No idea why they have a hard on about Ovie. He only has 39 points this year. Malkin with 58 I believe. Ovie with 2/3 the points and most of those As probably aren't even primary.

http://www.kuklaskorner.com/index.php/hockey/comments/video-_did_the_refs_miss_this_hit_by_ovechkin_today/

I'd say Michalek's is worse

I didnt' see the end of the game, but I guess the kicker missed a 32 year field goal to tie the game. Even I could make that.
according to Emily, the Crocktriots won. haha. Oh well, I'd bet on the Giants to take 'em out, but the 49ers are lookin' mightily hot, too. The winner of the 49ers-Giants are taking it home.

Re: [Madness Writers] 1/22/2012 02:26:00 PM

yeah, red line, skipped to an odd direction apparently, cnt really tell, but it went in.

not sure how a goalie would play that so i cant say if its truly terrible.

RE: [Madness Writers] Re: [Madness Writers] RE: [Madness Writers] RE: [Madness Writers] Re: [Madness Writers] 1/22/2012 11:06:00 AM

heck yeah it would be. i was watching it with the charge nurse here (on a differnet unit) who has season tickets, he says lately he's been having trouble selling them, but the reason they're so expensive on ticketMaster and TicketExchange is 'cause you have to apply a 10 or 20% fee on top of the original seat price in order to sell them, and that's the minimum sell price allowable on those seats. no wonder nobody buys them.

he said that it would have been tough to score that.. i was like "heck yeah, he had to go opposite post, no angle on the shot, and still get it around the goalie while the puck was moving toward him at a good clip."

Re: [Madness Writers] RE: [Madness Writers] RE: [Madness Writers] Re: [Madness Writers] 1/22/2012 11:06:00 AM

yeah that post shot was crazy.

i did say malkin had some good hands, a brief understatement to that 5 min dangling he had going befoe the goal.  quite  goal too, barely got that past neuvirth, who almost gloved it, that'd be a tough angle shot.

going to hockey in 2 hours, boooom.  hopefully people arent watching football, playing sports is much more fun.

Goes tothe net, Neal fires, it looks like it hits a Dman's skate, goes around the net, Malkin wtih the no-opening goal (he had to shoot it far post, and it went between the glove and leg pad to go in).

Malkin with an unbelievable dash around 2 palyers into the O zone, gets checked by the last Dman, falls on his knees, gets up and outmans the Dman for the puck in the corner, passes it gently to Neal for the easy tying goal. it looked to me like Neal's shot went off of somebody and then up into the corner pocket. No idea how it went in.

6 wins, baby. Great game. Ovie sucks. Brouwer with that far crossbar/post shot with 30 seconds or so almost finished the streak.

it says you can deduct the full 2500, it doesn't really say anything about getting it back.

Re: [Madness Writers] 1/21/2012 08:54:00 AM

yeah, 80 is no joke.

no idea how you get the entire 2500 back.  i looked it up and it said 1000, could be something different though.l

I should be able to deduct the whole 2500. I did last year and got it all back. No reason why I can't do it again this year. You gotta file jointly if married or else you can't deduct. Interesting.

Dang, 80 reps with 30 lbs. I could probably do 30 if I wanted, no way I could do 80. I'm not even sure how many pushups I can do. haven't tried. I know I have tendonitis or something in my left elbow. Gonna rest my triceps for a week to let it recover a bit.

well, i do 30 lbs and go for 80 reps, i need 68 pushups and i see it as an upside down pushup with a little less weight, but it gets pretty tiring.  my arms just feel dead by the last 20 or 30, but i push it out.  a few times i went to 100 but 80 isnt a bad target.

i tried 40 one time, i think i did 40, much harder.

getting 7500 between PA and federal taxes, at least.  gotta go through the deductions again to make sure.

apparently i only paid 506 in interest student loans last year, only getting like 150 back from that.  thats retardded.  u can pay up to 2500 and get 1000 of it back. im not even getting the 2500/1000=2.5 DOES NOT EQUAL 506/150=3.3   not the same rate.

i might get heather a car, turn her car in.  gotta look into this business as well, i wouldnt mind getting it started. ill send an email in a bit.

wouldnt even mind just getting the business going, get the car as a business expense, and start the business.  write off gas expenses, insuraance, home office, i'd be an employee, hether would be too, so all our food and expenses are 50% deductible.  too fricken easy man.

im done with that machine, im just doin squats from now on, own body weight for now,m later ill add some weights. i have a 30lb weight in my house. the gym has everything else.

i also do the exercise ball and have my head on it, keep my groin up, balance with my feet.  excellent workout for hamstrings and abs, and i lift up a 30lb weight (last time was 20 lbs cuz my chest was hurting, too little weight) and get my arms and chest workout with it, full body.

looks like im getting 6000 back for federal taxes, then another 1200 or so from PA, pluys the 1200 from last year

Malkin in the points lead by 3 , not even close if you go by points/game. and considering he has no teammates other than neal.. well. not even fair. They're ahead of the Caps but Caps are in a terrible division.

Re: [Madness Writers] RE: [Madness Writers] Re: [Madness Writers] 1/19/2012 05:15:00 PM

i tried that leg press again on tuesday,. only did 300 lbs and that was pretty hard to get it moved the first time, then it wasnt too hard.

the seat is too close to the press part, and u cant move it. puts a lot of stress on the knees.

yeah, gotta get that puck when the hand moves.  but the refs get sneaky, and sometimes drop it suddenly and very fast.

They told me a few times to not move or something like that. He got pulled though on the next faceoff 'cause he did what he told me to do, haha. Never saw anyone get pulled.

Squats - I can do 20 no sweat. Probably could go all day. That's why I did 540 lbs on the leg press, 3-4 sets of 12, could do more if I wanted. Don't wanna risk tendonitis at this point.

Re: [Madness Writers] 1/19/2012 05:15:00 PM

hockey was fun.  my endurance is definitely getting better, we were taking minute, minute and a half shifts, 3 lines.

i had a breakaway, it was a 2-1 and the teammate got the puck through the D's legs a litt le ahead of me, i got it, high slot, but somehow it got away, maybe i touched it and didnt get enough of it, dont remember.  would hvae been a good chance.

i made some sweet passes, broke up some plays, make some real sweet dekes.  one i jumped on the ice and the D was passing up ice as I got on, swiped it down, an opponent ot my left (i was on the right side) and i toe dragged it left, wide open up ice, was lining up the shot but someone was offside.  no idea who or how, didnt really matter i guess.  its fun to play, cant complain about that.

the other team is pretty good.  we lost 3-0.  the first goal i had the ouck in the D zone, had tons of ice to go up on a 1-1, saw the first D and should hve just kept left but i tried to get too greedy with a good deke, somehow it didnt leave the zone, puck goes around some and they scored somehow.  i know another teammate made a real bad pass up the middle, i was at the b lue line, couldnt do much about thta goal.

ohg yeah, i had two real nice shots from the left bottom circle. first i couldnt make a pass so I shot it TL, went wide a little.  then a little later I had a teammate in the slot and naother on the opposite side of the slot.  i wanted to pass it but too many people..if that farside F would hvae moved up to the high slot it would hvae been a real sweet play.  but i shot it right into the goalie's upper chest, neck, almost bounced in.

another time i was dekin left and right on the left side of the O zone.  D comes after me so i psas it pretty hard to the slot, wsnt sure where anyone was but i got it right at the F's feet, went through to the other F, no joke he had a wide open net (couldnt see really, too many bodies, but he told me after it happened) but the goalie somehow dove over and got a small piece of his glove on it.  F said one inch up or down and it was in, just inside the post.     wish i could hve seen it, sounded like a great play by both parties.

had two decent linemates.  the one Center on another line works hard, his skating doesnt look very fluid though.

the thing is, do squats everyday.  the first 3 days you gotta let it rest after that 1st day, then the 3rd or 4th day get back into it and you wont hurt anymore.  and its actulaly a lot easier.  a week already and it feels like nothing.  we did that walk yesterday, one sergeant today was sayin' her legs were sore.  not mine man, im ripped.  gonna do some ab worksouts real quick, take a shower

pens won 4-1. huge game.  6th in the East.  gonna be a great playoffs if they're healthy.  no asham or crosby, too.

won some faceoffs, lost some.  you gotta be quick, pretty much hit that puck right when it hits the ice or the good face off takelow rs will win.  2 i won clean, right when it hit, some i won in a battle, and a good bit i lost.  probbaly below 50% for hte night, but not by much.  some i would tell the F to go up that i was gonna hit it there, and guess what, thats where it went, but the F never got it, haha.

Pens had 14 to 8 shots, always dominate the shots category.  I was watching MAF during the last minute, analyzing his positioning since the puck was in the D zone.  It'd be hard job especially when the puck is behind a player or three.  i'm probably not gonna watch anymore. no interest.

Took Jasper to dog training.  We worked on 4 things I think.. I didn't pay for it, but this stuff is too basic for Jasper.  It's gonna get more advanced starting next week.  It's alla bout the homework, anyway 0 taking it home and working on repetition.  Just like school, I guess.

comment on tucker max while i read about him

divorced father at 1, mother who wasn't there.  he's obviously an intelligent person, so it makes sense, comes down to emotions.  He avoids them which is confirmed later in the story.  Every immature person becomes mature at some point.  His books might seem immature, but you can see he's on the path to maturity earlier than what most people thought.

He says something about "if you read between the lines, you can see a lot of self-loathing."  Yessir.  It's pretty obvious that nobody can be happy living that kinda life all the time.

"There's an emptiness and a loneliness to hooking up so much. [I've read that pornstars say that, too.] You don't notice it or care, when you're below a certain age, or a narcissist. But once you develop empathy, once you develop a soul [is he implying he didn't have a soul? he obviously wasn't empathetic.], the loneliness and the emptiness become too much. The negatives start to outweigh the positives. Don't get me wrong, I had a great time being who I was the past decade. But I just feel it's time for me to move on." [I find it hard he had a great time in the truest sense if you go by what he says in other parts of the interview, but he definitely enjoyed himself.]

i could go on, but it's all pretty evident just from his writing

Re: [Madness Writers] 1/19/2012 08:23:00 AM

puck daddy asks if players who play in the winter classic should get paid more.

definitely not.  no way that could happen.   they already get paid more from the revenues, as does every player.  theres absolutely no way you could give the game players any more, thats inequality throughout the NHLPA. who cares if you're on a tv show or hype the event.  thats your fuckin job, be an ambassador to the sport, plus you still get more money from the revenue...as does everyone else.

but setting up some kind of fun for ex players wouldnt be a bad step, or giving more of the revenue to all the NHL players.

that guy must have been drunk or on drugs...to sail that close.

also, where were the precautions, the other assistant captains, to ensure the ship wouldnt get torn to shreds ?  there's gotta be some kind of protocol to say HEY FUCKIN CAPTAIN, WE'RE GETTING TOO CLOSE TO THE REEF.

apparently not, but for a 100 million dollar ship, u think there'd be something as human insurance.   look at the very last picture, why the hell would he get so close.  stupid man, he should go to jail for negligence.

are you fricken kidding me?  why not talk about the steelers injuries that still almost still got the job done and killed Satan (aka Gods mighty helper Tebow).   oh because theres no profit off that.

THEY WERE LOSING BY 30 POINTS AT HALF TIME, WHAT DOES AN INJURY DO AT THAT POINT?    and you write a story about that rather than hey, Patriots are gonna destroy the Superbowl.

tebow can suck a large penis.  God's penis, if it's mighty enough to have one.

that tucker max article was pretty good.
