but we're not getting a new car for a while, her car is fine, 600 a year insurance or so. no car payments.  i can live with it.

a brand new 2012 nissan is 10,500.  i wouldnt mind that.  34mpg, but it would take more than 10 years of driving in gas prices to offset the costs.  thats why hybrids really arent worth it.

 

i wouldnt mind just getting the versa, trade in the vw beetle and pay it off pretty quick,  put a few thousand down, maybe 4,000. pay it off in a year.
