Re: [Madness Writers] Re: [Madness Writers] 1/26/2012 04:35:00 PM

maybe, the 30 dollar one,.  crazy price, all it is is an attachment that goes on your headphones, but i really olnly see entire headsets with the plug, maybe the 60 one is better, no idea.  cant be any better i wouldnt think, maybe better quality headphones, but thats not the bud adaptor.

anywya, played tonight.  sucks it ends later, 10:20 was the end time.

2-2 tie.  should have been 3-2 us, our one defense womna, she's good, she wsa coming down the ice on the left on 1 on 2, but the Dman in front of her went to the bench, no idea what the hell he ws thinking, stupidest line change in history.  so now its a breakaway since the other Dman ws to her right too far over.   she shoots, 5 hole. booooom.

we're celebrating, then the refs are conversing.   no goal.  what?  a slash WAY before thta play even develops apparently happened.  nobody knows what happened.  so we tied instead.

we're losing 1-0, i go out 2nd shift and the puck is going to our O zone in the neutrla.  my shittiest winger is gonna be in a battle for the puck with a dman, both chasing it down.  im in the middle, they';re to the right.  we cross the blue line, somehow my winger smacks it and it comes to me.  there ws another dman in between us but behind a bit.   the puck bounces towards the goal, took a weird bounce toward the left (far post) slightly  (someone asked if it hit the goalie first, i dont think it did, couldnt have)and hit my stick as the goalie was sliding over, went in. i think it was going in either way, i just guided it in a little quicker.   perfect play man, surprised even myself.

pumped my fist, everyone was excited.  i didnt expect it, surprising what some of the not good people can do.

our first shift in the 2nd we were in the O zone the entire time.  i went back to play D to cover the Dman in the corner.  he made a bunch of passes, kept coming back to him, so i slid in back door, went too far ahead, reached out and stopped it s the other Dman came over ot help.  i went to pull it back to line up for a high slot snapper, but the dman took it for a shot.  cant complain about it, but i was in a better position since we were both right hnded.

that 2 min ws like that Sedin video where they owned in the Ozone.  no goal.  hahahahhahahahaha

i know the last two shifts i had the puck and flew up the zone.  first time i deked to the left, fuckin winger hit it forward as i went to deke again, no idea whaat he was thinking.  so i went around hte net, but i wsa too tired to really do anything, protected the puck, threw it to net, but nothing.

near the beginning i was on the right of the net on a 2-2, threw it to my teammate in the crease but went slightly b ehind him,  another teammate was further to the left, puck ws too far in front of him, haha.

winger had a breakaway in the third.  tried a decent deke to his forehand.  hit the goalies leg pad.

throat doenst feel all too good.  chest hurts a little.  talked to that breakaway guy before the game, he said i'd be doing a stress test at the cardiology place.  guess thats about all i can do now to see whats up.  cardiology said it would take 30 minutes, it was an EKG...i did that at the hospital and the clinic, took like 2 seconds.  guy said the stress test was on a treadmill.  i hope they both mean the same thing, doesnt sound like it though.

the treadmill stress test the only test that can do anything.

what else.  oh, second time near the end i had the puck on the right, flew up the boards , was too tired, wasnt bending my knees good enough cuz of fatigue and kind of lost my balance, pretty much gave the puck up.  im pretty good at puck control.  dont even really try, just kinda know whats gonna work. couldnt even imagine inloine hockey, be even easier with all that room.  i keep my head up, or at least peripheral vision I know where people are. sometimes i focus on the puck, but thats only when im focused on a rush, but i still know where people are.

oh yeah, the other team's first goal, the Dman, pretty good, one of the better peoplei n the league, he gets the puick and takes a rush up ice.  its a 1-1, nd im backchecking hard.  he drop passes to the goalie's left of the crease, i stop on the right to not screen the goalie (i ws moving very fast, couldnt stop to get the puck), fuckin goalie never went down teh entire game.  puck went to the left WHILE ON THE ICE to the post and in.  i wasnt very happy about that.    i went to the bench nd asked "what the hell was the goalie doing?"  nobody could really answer.  all i saw ws the goalie go out a little to challenge, standing up. looked like some 1960's style, pretty much gave them the goal for free.

not my bad, i played hard on the backcheck, no idea where the other Dman was, cuz the first was playin the rushing Dman.

im fast, decent hands. good awareness.  i didnt make too many wonderful passes like i usually do.  was getting the piuck off the boards a lot better thn usual though. a lot of times my stick wont grab it or the puck bounces around too much.

minute and a half is probably the best duration/energy shift.  2 min starts pushing, nything after that is too long.  last shift was probably 3 min, had two rushes down ice, i was dead.  only 2nd shift of the third.  3 in the1st nd 3 in the 2nd, not a bad game.  only reason it ws less in the 3rd ws cuz the center got tht slashing penalty on the non-goal.  so i let the other people play, wasnt getting greedy, not until i mistakenly took a 3 min shift.  nobody was telling me to get off and i wasnt paying attention.

we were dominating most of the game.  last min the other team had too many chances in their O zone.  no OT, pretty lame.

im probably the best player on the team, not really sayin much.  the penalty center is good, probably better in the corner boards.  not as fast, not as good hands.  not really sayin much.
