Perhaps the biggest piece of recent info about Halo 4 is its position as the first in a trilogy of games called the Reclaimer Trilogy.

 

Gotta be kiddin' me, man.  Another trilogy?  Jesus.

 

There are gonna be different weapons, vehicles, enemies.  In other words, it's Master Chief in a Forerunner environment. 

 

And why are they introducing forerunner stuff?  The importance of the Forerunner and the Pfhor in Marathon was to be mysterious and not so direct, I thought . Introduce the unknown to make the story more open to interpretation.

Make a new game, introduce a new main character and sidekick,a nd call it something else.  Make a new universe. 

 

 

They're already buildin' the hype machine for Halo 4.  Let it go.
