Emily was watching some show a few weeks back about some British family that went to live on a small island for a few weeks. During the first day, the kids were complainng about not having TV and computers and phones. It probably would take some getting used to, especially the physical labor. The funny thing is that the people from these poor countries seem a lot happier in general with life. Technology seems to take us away from the important things, like reading news, playing games, watching TV, it's all pointless. Life is pretty pointless, though, I believe.

Looks like I'll get to watch one or two playoff games before I go to Peru. April 10th should be the start of the playoffs, it's always a wednesday, and the pens usually play on the first day. I'm definitely taking my tablet with me to watch the games if possible. Emily's against that idea, too, but mroe 'cause she wants us to be away from technology. I'm all for it, but 16 days away from technology, especially in the airports, on trains, in planes. I don't know, sounds like the novelty would wear off quickly. We get at least 3 "rest" days during our vacation, no idea what we're gonna do on those days. Walk around and explore the country, I guess. I'm gonna take my exercise bands for some good exercising, gotta keep my body strong. Army strong, muahahahahahaha.
