This is what I'd be looking at monetarily depending on how much % I get just from VA.... we've decided to live with my dad for free until we get on our feet and finish school and Kim finishes school so we can save a good bit of money.  My dad was all for it so it should work out pretty well.  I told him I would cover his utility costs at the house (since they don't even exceed 200$ a month while we live there.  I am going to remodel the basement, too... I'm gonna do all the work myself, etc so it's cheap.  So while I'm getting the 6 months unemployment I should be able to pay off all of my debts like credit cards, etc. and get myself and my family into a good position and hopefully sell my house in Texas by then.

Let me know what you guys think.
