army socks definitely aren';t good to 0 degrees.

you';re priobably better off buying a great pair that does that kinda job.

i jsut get hot feet in these fricken boots.  maybe buy a cheap pair of slippers and wear them with socks in teh bag.  that would probably work.  heather bought me a pair for 10 bucks or something, definitely keep my feet warm.

Yeah dude, don't do the machine back extensions. Trust me, man. Don't do it. Too easy to mess up your back that way.

When I had back pain last summer, doing hte ab machine hurt my back, too, so I stopped doing it. Pretty sure it's 'cause you have to use your back to fluidly bring the machine back to its starting position.

I don't recommend deadlifts, honestly, but squats are good. Leg press is even better than squats 'cause there's no stabilization to be done. Makes it easier to work only your legs. 1000 squats a day? jesus. Yeah, those calf extensions are a joke. I did 50 pounds the first time. It was hard as heck 'cause i wasn't used to it. Did it again a week later, didn't feel a thing. Can't really go above 50 lbs 'cause of the machine setup. That's why you should just use the leg press machine to do calf raises.

Send me two pair of those army socks. I found some socks on amazon for like $15 that supposedly work to 40 below. I doubt that's true, but I need a pair to 0 degrees or so.

All you really need to do, supposedly, are deadlifts, squats, shoulder press, and chest/bench press. Throw in some ancillary workouts like bicep curls, tricep extensions, some back workouts, ab workouts, and your'e good to go.
