Even spending $1000 a month on student loans, I have too much money. I could go out and buy pretty much whatever I wanted and it wouldnt' even phase my wallet. I see why people make impulse purchases and stuff. Not me, man. I'll use my money for something.
Emily wanted to buy a clock at some antique pawn shop place over the weekend. An old, heavy metal clock that winds up. She said she wouldn't buy it if it was more than $20. I said "anything over $15 is too much, but I wouldn't spend $10." Really it was probably only worth a few bucks, but it was an antique so of course the price is jacked. guess how much.. 60 smackers, man. that was after a 20% discount. No idea how. emily wanted it for the mantle. I wanted her to buy some pictures that were $6 for a pair and $8 for another pair. $14 for 4 pictures in the house. We're gonna decorate no matter what 'cause that's what people do in their homes, so why not keep the price down?
Her uncle was talking about a picture he wanted to buy at an art gallery for $3,500. Of course, he coudln't justify paying that much. Wise man. Maybe a used car. Not a painting.
