wow, capitals arent makin it to the playoffs, lost tot eh canes 5-0.  i hope they dont, finally put Ovechkin in the hockey cemetary of stardom.   some goalie for the isles was pulled after 1:30 GIVING Up 2 goals in 5 shots.  haha.

did the Insanity test last night.  let me break it down. I'm on the left, Shawn T is on the right (creator of insanity, pretty ripped)   I did those dead lifts and ran 3.4 miles for PT yesterday at a 9:00 min pace, hurt my throat for some reason.

Switch Kicks-    126              (not sure how they count it, i counted every kick like the two people on the video) need to bring my legs up more near the end. did moer than both testers, somehow.

Power Jacks-   xx                   dont remember, think it was around 57. definitely hard to do them fast, but they aren't hard. a little bit of  form practice I could probably get it to 75.

Power Knees-    91                  (heather said I was putting too much effort compared to that Asian woman, who did 121. basically just lift your knee and bring down your  armseffortlessly, I thought you had to tense your abs or something, guuess not)

Power Jumps-     xx           (dont remember)

Globe Jumps-      13          pretty easy for the most part, the asian lady did 9 her previous test, the guy only did 7,...no idea how.

Suicide Jumps-    27                        probably need to bring my legs back more or something, but was good form otherwise.

Push-up Jacks-     37             surprised I did that many.  probably didnt have the best form. i they think take their legs out pretty far.

Low Plank Obliques-      36       I don't make excuses for the others, but by this one I was about to throw up cuz I ate 40 minutes beforehand. Didn't feel good for 20 minutes after.  This seemed like the hardest but was probably the easiest.  also not sure how they count it, if its every one or every other one.    its super easy, i could probably knock out 65 right now, if not more.

for the msot part I have really strong abs.  but weak legs.  those jumps man, the power jump I remember the last one I couldn't even lift my legs they were burning.

people online say to only count reps that have proper form.  for the first time doing it I'm not worried about it.  some I had to restart because I knew I wasn't doing them right.    some people after 60 days doubled, sometimes tripled, their scores.  they were also pretty fricken out of shape at the start.  still, 150 switch kicks is a good goal. i did more push up jacks and suicide jumps than most of the people, somehow.

the workouts, theoretically, seem difficult.  instead of working your way up to a hard intense, short effort, Shawn T does 3 min hard efforts with 30 second rests...i MIGHT try one tonight durng the Pens/Rangers game depending on how I feel after PT.  it would work out perfect then THursdays/hockey days, I could take the recovery day.
