correct answer - solitary confinement. for long periods of time. one guy's been in it for over 40 years. i dont' know how anybody could do that.

mentally, anything you come out alive wouldn't be so bad.

physically, being burnt with would be one of the worst. 3rd degree
burns all over your body. the skin grafts and stuff would be awful.

maybe having your limbs torn off your body and surviving, still
couldnt be as painful as the long recovery of skin grafts.

the first police officer at that Shikh temp[le shooting in August was
shot in his trachea (and like 12 other places - shooter was less than
10 ft away with an automatic rifle, officer was shot laying on the
ground. even the officer had no idea why the guy didnt kill him). he
said getting that washed out felt like he was drowning, seemed like it
happened everyday for a while. that would suck, but wouldnt be the
worst.

imn pretty sure 3rd degree burns and skin grafts. i read an account
of a motorcyclist that wrecked, was wearing like no clothes, and was
in the hospital for like 6 months. recovery sounded extremely
painful.
