when the othe team is on their rush, I'll hold the R down and keep clikcing "change player" til I get the C.

D will never let a guy skate up the middle and score.

i also slow down near the blue line to get near the puck holder, make em deke then slam em out, rather than tryin to hit and having them deke around.  a lot of times I dont even attempt to hit, just contain the player.

and yeah, teh good players dont leave openings very often.  its a skat around game at that point, almost always passing back to my D. a lot of times I'll pass to D and immediately pass back to teh same player.  near the corner boards, those players are ALWAYS open.  sometimes a player goes behidn the net, to the office.  always open there too.

people that don't understand D let open TONS of gaps, and easy to exploit.  gets boring doin the "skate from behind or near the near, out, across, wide open too easy of a goal."  I get those chances at least twice a game, usually more. if a person leaves it open, Im gonna take advantage of it.  it'd be hard in real life as well to stop.

evidently there's a 26.7 mile Pittsburgh bike trek goin on this weekend. sounds like fun hahahahahaha.

closing the frickin' inbound tunnel again this weekend. not too bad 'cause i'll be coming in tomrorow morning around 6 am so there won't be much traffic in Wilkinsburg.. I'll take the back road shortcut anyway. And I'll be on my bike. Supposed to be 30% rain on the way home otnight and 30% rain all day tomorrow. I dont' care, I'm not riding my car in.

I'd say the only problem I have in NHL is gap control at times. I don't get the game, though. Sommetimes, the other guy's D is perfect on the forecheck. No matter what you do, nobody's open, so the only thing available is to skate around with the puck. My guys are never in perfect position. Not sure what I'm doin' that's different from other players.
