Yeah, we watched the women's volleyball matches, probably 4 or 5. the one american team beat the brazilians who were #1 even thoug hteh Americans were rpetty new to the sport. They lost in the gold medal match to the real Americans who are retiring I believe. THey won the last 3 olympic golds and went something like 112 matches wtihout a loss at one point. Women's volleyball is a joke, though - they can't jump high enough to spike it most of the time so they usually just lob it over the defender's head/arms. when you watch the men's volleyball in comparison, it's a completely different sport. i'm talking 2 on 2 anyway. the 5 on 5 or 7 on 7 or whatever ti is - that's probably the same.

water polo is a joke. i give credit to the stamina, but that's it.

handball is probably the lamest of all "sports". i honestly hesitate to call it a sport.

the #1 archery male is an American, lost in the 2nd round to the 41st guy. i think #8 won it all, but the next lowest ranked guy was like 22 or something. I think they had 64 , maybe 128 people in the tournament. I dind't watch, just saw the results.

Men's basketball isn't even a tournament. Should probably just get rid of it like they did with baseball.

I saw that Merritt guy earlier, he was too fast. not even a challenge for him.

That Blake or whatever the Jamaican guy's name is in the 200 meters yesterday was barely even running and he still got a 22 second result or around there. everyone else was going 110% and couldn't even keep up. even the announcers were talkiing about it saying how he was barely moving his arms while the others were all pumping up and down.

yeah, hopefully it's a boy, get him into hockey at a young age , get him some good life lessons and teamwork skills. I don't know how much I'll push school. Probably a lot, but at the same time, I know how useless it is. In Emily's family, it's an issue with her one cousin 'cause he got kicked out of college around Thanksgiving of his senior year. Her dad and one uncle were saying he should go back and finish but the kid's dad was saying it's not that important and he's not pushing it but that's 'cause he didn't like school and still doesn't think it's beneficial. I completely agree with him but unfortunately most people need it to get ahead.

Josh and taht BillerStudios is hilarious. I put it on for Emily right before I went to work while I was folding clothes. I see why the one video was scripted - two other videos had him and Joel ad-libbing it and it was extremely boring. I wasn't paying attnetion 'cause of the clothes but I could hear it. I'll call him next week maybe, see if they wanna get together. Last time I called, he never called back. ah well. good luck with that video service. "Please consider donating" with a link to Paypal hahahahahaha i guess if you're desperate, whatever works.
