interesting.

the tie breaker goes to the Pens, UNLESS the rangers beat the pens the last game, then i dont know beacuse both teams would be 3-3-0 against each other.  pens have more goals against the rangers so far.  i would assume the pens would take the tie breaker.

3 losses for both rags and pens.  we'll see.

lookedl ike you gave the flyers a loss against all playoff teams.  hahaha.  guess we'll see.  doesnt really matter.

i know tehres talk of that rookie on the devils getting the Calder.  not even sure how that team is decent.  two reasons: NE and SE.

so I have Pens and Rangers at 111, Flyers 101, Devils 97. I had to put some random losses in some of the predictions or else some teams would have 6 or 7 game win streaks.

Some things to note: if Rangers and Pens end up with the same amount of Wins/Losses/OT Losses, they'll be tied in points. You can look to see who would win the tiebreaker, I'm not interested 'cause it won't happen.
It's not gonna be as close as a finish as we originally thought. I know my predictions won't be 100% accurate. Either Rangers or Pens on top, then Rangers/Flyers/Devils in 4/5/6.
Flyers and Pens both play on Saturday, then they play each other on Sunday so I;m predicting a Pens' win. I originally had the Flyers winning due to the Pens playing on Saturday.

I can't find the email in which I wrote out the amount of wins/losses for the pens when they played each team. Not lookin' anymore.

Ah, I failed to notice that the Pens have the least amount of games played. They have the best chance of winning the conference. Rangers have 2nd best chance. Then Flyers, and Devils, all Atlantic Division teams. Penguins, Flyers, and Devils are all above the Bruins and Panthers in points but below them in standings, not fair man. Think about it, 2 of the higher ranked teams are gonna have home ice disadvantage and two crap teams are gonna have the advantage. And it's a huge advantage in the playoffs, man.

What.. Rangers have 75% of winning conference, Pens 19%. No idea where those numbers are coming from. I'll admit Rangers have a higher chance only because they have more points, but they also have one more game played which eliminates the advantage, in my opinion.

The standings are basically set. The only positions that could swap are 1/4, 2/3, and 7/8. We'll see in a month, I guess.

They really should get rid of the 2/1 point system and go wtih a 3/2/1 or 5/3/1 or something along those lines. It really helps some teams and kills other teams.

In the West, St. Louis basically has #1 locked odwn although Canucks are only 6 points behind with 2 less games. Top 5 teams are set, although Phoenix might take otu Dallas for #3 position. 5 teams fighting for 2 playoff spots. Anaheim is like the Devils last year.

Yeah, I';m bored
