did 2 sets of 185 lbs deadlifts, then a 3rd set of 205.  Could barely lift it 'cause my hands were so sweaty.  Gonna have to start taking my gym gloves.

for some reason, I could do more pullups, did less bicep curls though with the p90x. I'm gonna have to have jim show me the proper way to do bicep curls.  There was a guy, early 40s, a real douchebag at the gym, curling 40 lb. dumbbells, but his arms were no bigger than mine, so I'm watching him.. he was definitely using accessory muscles, probably anterior delts? Swinging his arms forward to curl.  It wasn't too obvious, but I noticed.   I was doing it more subtle than him which is probably why the side of my neck hurts, mostly on the left but sometimes on the right for no reason.. I wouldn't even say it's pain, more of a tightness or something.  FOr some reason, I had to use slightly less weight to curl, too. no big deal.

so "how I met your mother"   pretty much comes down to Dr. Doogey Howser, the main character, the good lookin' girl, and that 'bandcamp' girl from American Pie.  The 5th character, eh, he's useless.  By the way, those characters are listed in order of importance.  Doogey Howser has unique comments/phrases, a zest for life, a 'let's go do this now" spontaneity with little sense of the outcome.  He has a shitload of money (you have to assume that, anyway, based on his actions in the show) though his profession is never mentioned so it doesn't add up..  WIthout him, the show would suck.  The main character is a typical character, eveything has to be in order and scheduled.. plays Doogey's foil.    Entertaining, though I can't see myself watching 188 episodes.  no real meat to the show but it's a damn good sitcom.  The cute girl's facial expressions seem the most genuine that I've ever seen on  a TV show.  A lot of times, it looks like she's really smiling or laughing at the actors/actresses, not because she should be.  If it's not real, damn, what an actress.  Other than that, each episode has the main plot with some minor plots, all for gags.  Some random stuff that can be pretty funny

Watched 2 episodes of Hannibal.. gotta do something to stay awake.  so Lecter eats people? they make it seem that way by immediately showing him and then meat.. either the preparation and/or the consuming.  he's a mysterious character. I'll give the show credit, it's entertaining in a Dexterish sort of way.  You say 3 characters, I'd say really only two.  Pretty obvious who.. but Morpheus is necessary.  Once they focus more on Lecter, things should make more sense.
