air force - start out making 34,000 a year.. that's taxed, right?

free housing, free insurance, 30 days vacation a year, $2,000 a month during school.  if I can go to school and come out iwth no more loans, i'm signing up as soon as i can.  assuming that everything above is accurate.. recruiter hasn't called back yet.
