watched first two episodes of "how I met your mother" .. pretty good for a sitcom. good story, the main girl (well, she probably won't be int he show for long) was pretty good lookin'. the main character is a bit lame but he grows on ya after a bit. Patrick Harris was overacting in the first episode with the "meet me at the bar in 15 minutes... suit up!" "you're not wearing a suit!" "get a suit!" "suit suit suit!" but not his fault.. that'st he character. definitely forced. i guess there were laugh tracks but they weren't as noticeable as some shows.
that story you sent about jimmy and the soldier, i was laughing pretty hard. Emily's sister watching Andy (he was ssleeping) was there 'cause I just woke up and i always read the news when I eat my breakfast.. asked me what was so funny. good stuff
that navy seal book is pretty good if you wanna know about the training , but it doesn't get into the psychology much. what little it does analyze, it's mostly stuff you can figure out on your own. still an easy, informative, entertaining read. That Tiger book would make an awesome magazine article. Cut down some of the unnecessary stuff (not much, but it's in there). got through 20% of that, and I read 20% of the Navy Seals book on the training/Hell Week. that's where I would start, probably. Not sure what else is in the book, but that's gotta be the meat and potatoes.
