i got pulled over last Friday. going 90 or 95.  i was going 110 on the other section of highway before the red light.

after the red light I gunned it (it was like 100 degrees out man, fucking hot), got to the next set of red lights with traffic, downshifted and prepared to stop.  look back and see some flashing lights.

guy asked if i was in a hurry, didnt even give me a warning...well I guess it was but he didnt say it, told me to slow down.

not worth going that fast, but when its hot its about the only way to stay cool.

ah, i haven't told you - so I was driving home from work one morning, probably monday, when I get some traffic ahead of me on route 30 near Lowes/Walmart. People don't know how to drive (at least not fast enough for me), so I proceeded to drive right between two cars on the dotted line. Never even fazed me, I just did it. No thinking involved. They were probably going 20 mph 'cause the light turned green. I was going like 60, haha. Wasn't worth it, but I got home a few minutes earlier than if I didn't. I go around cars all the time on the turnpike - today, a truck was holding up traffic in the fast lane, so when the car in front of me got just in front of the car in the slow lane, I wedged between them, went around everybody, and passed the truck. 80 mph maybe, 85 tops. I usually drive 80, so it coudlnt' have been much faster than that. Downshift to 5th, and vrrrrooom. I'd have to say that cruisers are safer in general. Less desire to go faster, probably, though I could be wrong. Crotch rockets, and motorcycles in general, give a feeling of superiority when able to pass cars, though, that's for sure. Not something you probably have to worry about with your 15 minute commute.
