I'm glad a lot of people in this thread already recognize 3d TV's as the BS gimmicky crap that is absolutely is. It's laughable and it won't be around when 4k TV's emerge at a reasonable price. Many wise companies choose not to dabble in such futility, and I applaud them.

it just isn't worth my time to go any further into this. There's many great articles on the web. (I bet this is true.  3D is way overrated, and most consumptionable items aren't worth consuming let alone in "3D")
